5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is one of my favorite wheat ales. It has a great light fruit flavor without being sweet.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught at brewpub. Blackberry and wheat taste throughout. For a hot day, I found this one refreshing and surprisingly good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
2oz taster on tap, at HopCat Broad Ripple. Hazy pink red orange color. Thin off-white head, short ropes of lace. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of full, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light hint of tart. Great blackberry, cream, and bready wheat aroma. Pretty nice balance to this. Like a blackberry muffin. Good blackberry fruit beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a cloudy purple-amber color with a thin off-white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of berries, wheat and malt. Light body with a mildly tart fruity character and notes of toasty malt and wheat. The finish is fruity with a short berry aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at the brewpub today around lunchtime. Pours a completely opaque rusty reddish brown with a medium beige head. Nose is dank malt, berries, some caramel and creamy wheat. Flavor of sweet berries, caramel malt and a bit of tartness before a sweet berry and wheat finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampler flight at the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a murky reddish hue, glowing, with a small frothy whitish head, laces small. Aromas are touches of blackberry, mellow sweeter malts, a bit clean overall. Bread, flaked wheat. Initial is medium bodied offering a significant sweet and tart blackberry presence. Pulpy, tannins, moving into crisp bread, some toast, flaked wheat. Touches of estery fruit, some more bread, touches of bready dough yeasy linger into the finish. A lingering touch of tartness, berry, and dryness from the wheat and maybe a touch of grass. Ok. It’s nice that it’s not a sugar bomb, but it seems a touch forgetful. Very "muffin-y".
