The India Pale Ale was born when handfuls of fresh hops were added to barrels to preserve beer quality when shipping from England to colonial India. It is the same generous addition of hops that allow the Three Boys IPA to survive the long haul, but when drunk fresh you ca really appreciate the aroma our special selection of NZ hops creates.

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy amber coloured with a thin white head. It has a slight sour tart citrus fruity flavour with toffee and biscuit notes on the tart woody finish. Although this beer was purchased only a couple of weeks before it was drank, it may be on the turn.

Can. Clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly crisp. Light pale malt bring modest creamy sweetness. Light floral start to the hops, leading to super mild lime and mint. Smooth finish. Very polite IPA, perhaps a little too laid back.
