Three Boys Wheat evokes ancient abbey ales, when yeasts were wild and spices instead of hops were added for bitterness. We use genuine Belgian yeast that with the wheat malt produces the authentic frothy head, cloudiness and huge flavours sought in this wit bier (white beer) style. The addition of coriander and citrus zest really make this beer special.

Cloudy pale gold with large white pillowy head that lingers. Lemon zest, coriander, pepper and ginger on the nose. Quite a bouquet, perhaps a bit over-pronounced. Moderately sour with low bitterness. Low-medium body with a lasting slightly cloying finish. Enjoyable beer which promises a whole lot. IMO wouldn’t take too much to tweak this into a great local example of the style. 500mL bottle.

Can. Clear yellow with spices and citrus blending together to produce a very interesting beer.I am not really a fan of this style but this is an excellent beer no matter what style it is. Cant believe you can get so much flavour into a can.

From the can. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin layer of foam. Big orange and coriander nose with some floral notes. Flavor is heavy on the coriander with a backing component of orange juice. Off sweet with spritzy carbonation. A bit too much coriander for my taste, but a very nice wit.

(Bottle) Good beer. Cloudy yellow colour, no head? Banana and coriander in the aroma. Lightly sweet with plesant and resfreshing lemon sourness in the finish. Full body and high carbonation. Refreshing wheat with touch of belgian wit.
