500ml bottle from Booths. Bottle conditioned. Hazy thin gold colour. Thin white head. Spicy honey aroma. Over carbonated. Odd honey flavour. Some spice. Bit musty too. Quite intense. Not my favourite.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask Conditioned at The Lower Buck, Waddington, Lancs. A golden colour with white bubbly head. A superb combination, my favourite pub on my short Lancashire tour and now my favourite Lancashire beer. This is a superb, dry hoppy beer with an underlying grassy fresh barley flavour. A big lemony bitter finish complements the beer. It has achieved a bit of a cult status in this part of England and its not surprising. The pub is a traditional Village Inn with great food and an excellent choice in beer, I loved it.
