Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular, also Bottle conditioned.
A strong pale ale, light in colour with a balanced malt and hop flavour and superb Goldings aroma, long dry finish and delicate fruit notes (GBG 2004).

Bottle, Empire Wines, Birmingham. Poured golden with an off white head that dissipated. Sweet, malty aroma. Quite a bit of carbonation happening. Flavour has some honey and butterscotch interspersed with some fruit and hops. Fairly gentle bitter finish. Drinkable and pleasant enough.

Bottle from keswick somewhere? Aroma is peachy, slight iodine bitterness, sweet and honey notes but dominated by yeast. When you pour this beer you realise why you can mainly taste yeast. Theres about 4mm of solid yeast at the bottom. What use is that? You lose about 1/3rd-1/4 of the bottle because of it. Not a terrible beer but overly fizzy and coool it with the yeast!

A ruby colour, a little sweet malt nose, caramel fruit malt quite rich, but a bit fizzy.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Booths, Clitheroe. Clear gold beer with white head. Surprisingly sharp bottle conditioned ale, hoppy and sharp malt with a touch of sweetness. Long fruity finish, not bitter. An enjoyable beer.
