Cask, Castle Inn, Bradford-on-Avon ... Average at best, however I enjoyed this in an idyllic setting at a small pub just outside Bath, England. That probably helped make it taste better.

Light copper color, no head. Woody hoppy, vinegradish nose. Quite flat mouthfeel. Sticky, harsh vinegardish, bitterish flavor. Leafy hops in the aftertaste. Not in top condition (and the 1st pint of the day).

Cask. Hazy yello colour, small beige head. Aroma is nectar, sweet fruity hops along with sweetish malts. Flavour is dry flowery and fruity hops along with some yeast. Also some slight notes of infection (sourish notes). Without the slight notes of infection it would have been quite nice.

Cask at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford, 01-06-08 Pours golden with small white head, like the Slaters Monky Magic which I was also having this was served just a bit too warm, this affected it bit as the citrus which was clearly there seemed dulled and the sweet maltiness also suffered slightly. This was fine but I think served a little cooler it could have been a couple of marks higher.

Half pint handpulled at Lamb & Flag in Oxford. A thin white patch resting on a golden-brown body. Faint grassy smell. The flavour contains elements of citric fruits and a weak note of bitterness in the aftertaste. Thin and rather dull (16.03.2008).
