[Cask at the Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe] Glowing amber with a slight white head. Apple, caramel and a whiff of fart. Buttery caramel grows in a fairly sweet finish, Utterly unremarkable.

Cask conditioned handpump Red Well Wellingborough 19/09/12. A classic brown coloured beer with a white head and lacing. A very dry husky malty beer. Some sweet caramel notes in the mouth. Quite heavily flavoured in an old fashioned way. Very husky.

Pint on draught at the Old Manor in Bracknell. Copper coloured with a creamy head. Fruity, well hopped aroma. Fruity, bitter, a little dry and biscuity. Very dry finish. Its alright, but I wouldn’t go further than that.

500ml bottle. Cloudy copper with almost no head. Hoppy aroma, peach, some sweet malt. Taste is also a bit ice tea like, some sweetness, peach aroma, leading to a full hoppy finish. A little bit strange, but not too bad of course. And not so golden/blond, by the way.
