Cask HP at The Crosse Keys Bishopsgate as Three Castles Heritage. Amber orange, translucent, still, small bubbly off white head. Aroma is buttery toast, a bit farty, estery. Body is smooth with low carbonation. Taste is thin, light toffee, cardboard, touch tangy, apple. OK but a touch weird.

1/2 at ’spoons Gateshead. Nice and fresh. Golden amber with an off white head. Caramel aroma, caramel and dried fruit flavours. Medium bodied, gentle carbonation, nice bitter finish. Could happily have had a couple of pints

[Cask at the Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe] Glowing amber with a slight white head. Apple, caramel and a whiff of fart. Buttery caramel grows in a fairly sweet finish, Utterly unremarkable.

Cask at Weatherspoons; Pours amber creamy head tastes bitter also had a sour tinge to it. Pretty underwhelmed by this.

Cask conditioned handpump Red Well Wellingborough 19/09/12. A classic brown coloured beer with a white head and lacing. A very dry husky malty beer. Some sweet caramel notes in the mouth. Quite heavily flavoured in an old fashioned way. Very husky.

cask at AGBelll ... amber ... small off white head ... soft fruit nose ... light mellow toffee roast ... dull fruits ... ok ... but unexciting

Pint on draught at the Old Manor in Bracknell. Copper coloured with a creamy head. Fruity, well hopped aroma. Fruity, bitter, a little dry and biscuity. Very dry finish. Its alright, but I wouldn’t go further than that.

Cask handpull at County Hotel Ashford. Its a bitter. Some biscuit some yeast character but its unexciting if a perfectly fine brown bitter. Flavours are fine

Gold Glowing ale with a mild malty character. Has a slight soapy aroma but is easy to sip.
