3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 26, 2009 Cask (Pullman, Helsinki)
Rich reddish colour, tiny head. Almost chocolatey aroma, veering on the side of roasted dry pulses. Slightly nettley palate, but soft carbonation. Reasonable roasty body, and hops quite stingy. Quite sulphury, but not in a GK way. Full rich body - good dark bitter.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask (gravity) at the Hop Pole Easter beer festival 2009, Aylesbury. On the festival list as Lazy Days but some other sources have it as Lazy Daze so I’m not entirely sure which is correct. Reddish colour. Slightly moist, clammy malt aroma. Some diacetyl. A little creamy toffee in the flavour. Dryish on the palate but a bit uninspiring overall.
