This big NW IPA might just put a spell on you! With a burnt, golden-orange color, 6 malts and 4 hops varieties, this beer is enchanting. The up-front hammering of NW hops swirls around with the sweet malt body of one mouthful at a time, producing a light and crisp finish with just a hint of dryness that leaves you wanting more.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours clear dark copper with a 3 finger frothy beige head. Firm aroma of pine. Med body. Very hoppy. Lots of pine with a little citrus and arguably floral. Even a bit earthy. There’s a pretty strong roast malt backbone, but the hops rule. This is really bitter and flavorful. Highly recommended.

Moderate citrus with good sweet malt backing it. Deep copper/orange color. Mix of citrusy hops / somewhat harsh resinous notes in mid / nice balancing act in finish. Medium-heavy body. Enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewpub in Sisters. Deep medium-dark red-amber with a fairly durable head and a ample streaks of sticky lacing. Aroma: Herbal and floral hops. Soe citrus too. Flavor: Medium strong herbal hop punch with building bitterness partially reduced by the malts. Feel: Medium body with appropriate crisp carbonation. O: recommended as a subtlely spicy IPA.

Beautifully crafted IPA, orange/amber in color with very small, but creamy head.. Combination of malt and hops blend well for an overall smooth experience, nice mild bitterness on the finish. Very easy to drink ale.

Poured from draft at tug boat brewery in Portland. Tons of fluffy head. Distinct grassy hoppy fruity taste. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Very enjoyable overall

On tap at the brewery. Nice amber pour with a white head. Citrus and grapefruit hop aromas. The taste follows suit with pleasant honey and caramel malt backbeats. Good body and mouthfeel. A solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear darker amber color with a very thick pillowy light tan head on it. Nose is grassy, and seems to have a bit of spice to it, actually. Taste is slightly bitter, and seems to have just a bit of toast to it underneath. OK, but nothing remarkable.

on tap at the brewery Red amber with near brilliant clarity and just a little bit of fine, tiny bubbles. Smell fruity, reminds me of New Belgium’s Hoppy Bock - nice sweet lemon, some mixed berry and bits of grapefruit and other malts. Flavor follows suit with some malt, but then plenty of fruity hops, lemons, grapefruits and cereal grain flavor. Medium bodied with moderate carb and a wet finish. The standout so far at the brewery.

Tap at Three Creeks. Pours a low haze amber with wispy lacing. Nose is stickier grain, tea, somewhat savory with Worchestershire sauce. Taste is soapy, grainy, husky, raw, tea. Palate is soapy, papery, tea tannic. Lots of problems.

Color is golden orange. Foam is off-white and creamy. First hit of aroma was a little yeasty. Body is a little slick. Lots of bitterness in the flavor, not much malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
