3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This is amber in color and very clear. An off white one finger layer of foam leaves a sticky even layer. This smells like a classic west coast IPA. Caramel and lots of tangerine and citrus. Pleasant. A bit later the rye was noted. It is tasted more than it is found in the aroma and is a significant part of the flavor. Citrus is under that and later tropical fruit. A nice bitterness, too. This is nice. A nice balance to this beer and everything pulls together well.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured a copper with a bocky beige head. Nose of citrus and floral hops. Hint of rye in the aroma. Medium body. The flavor is citrus and the rye is quite tasted, but well balanced. The finish is bitter and rye spice. This is a solid west coast IPA (with rye), Does not try to do too much and is nice drinking.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from tap to glass. Clear golden orange hue with creamy white head that settled. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, caramel, resin, tangerine. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness followed by a solid hop bitterness. Overall this is a nice brew.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewpub in Sisters.
Deep medium-dark amber with a limited head and a few streaks of sticky lacing.
Aroma: Sweet. Caramel malts with some fruity hops with a faint herbal aspect.
Flavor: Medium strong herbal hop punch with building bitterness partially reduced by the malts. A load of grapefruit and orange peel in the finish.
Feel: Near medium body with appropriate crisp carbonation.
O: recommended as an alternative to an APA.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It’s about as average as beer can get. The Rye flavor is nice. Unfortunately I think it lacks as an IPA.

I am loving the Rye Ales these days. I had Three Creeks other rye brew, Stonefly Rye and I preferred this one since it is more flavourful. The aroma is bread and black pepper with some spruce hops. This clever girl is dark copper orange with a frothy white head. The taste was pretty yummy, like a better than average IPA with the boon of spicy, earthy rye along for the whole length of the ride. One of the better Rye Ales I have tried.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Really present rye nose and flavors throughout this fairly dry rye IPA. Nice and bitter in the finish. Tasty, not bold.

From 22 oz bomber. Color is cloudy dark orange with a white sticky head that lingers around the rim. The sweet smell has some grain. Flavor is a bit sour, then grain, then prodominant bitter. 8.5 BD, 5 JD, 7.5 Patrice
