3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up malts and apple to pear fruity esters as well as a touch of grainy malts. The taste initially has some thin spikes of citrus hops and then it thins out into various mild esters and some malt graininess.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
on tap at the brewery.
turbid apricot wit ha soapy etch across the top. Touch of fruit and ester up front is like a white grape, then follow thru with a near clay yeast character and a touch of astringency on the back end. Flavor is grainy and sweet, almost tastes under attenuated (although I can’t really know the intent here), touch bitter with a light oatmeal flavor. Full bodied with moderate carb and a dry finish. Meh.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught at the brewery in Sisters, OR. Sawdusty nose with a touch of lemon. Hazy apple juice color. Some light pepper, a bit of flowery sweetness, and some spice. Thin. Pretty fizzy. Rye doesn’t develop much, but it does have decent flavors.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 22 ounce bomber, thanks to Mike. The rye gives a big malt character. The hops are restrained, but there is slight citrusy character. There is some banana in the flavor. A nice easy drinking rye beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Gold, clear, off-white head. Aroma is grainy-sweet malt with a light rye note. Flavor: grainy-sweet malt, a little honey-like sweetness, balancing bitterness but not a lot of hop character. Drinkable but fairly simple beer.

22oz bottle from "Habits" in S.Salem.
Slightly hazy golden ale with a good sized thick and frothy white head.
Not getting a lot of aroma.. mainly caramel, biscuit and a touch of rye.
Smooth rye bread taste, caramel and some phenolics like rye weiss !!
Not spicy though.
Nice smooth low carbonated palate which i prefer.
Not the strongest rye tasting rye beer but certainly very drinkable on a nice warm Easter
