COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Now this is a saison! This refreshing Belgian-style ale is the combined effort of Three Floyds and De Molen’s fantastic brewer Menno (the real Dutch Hercules). This spicy and bracing ale was brewed in Munster, but look out for the one we brew in Holland at DeMolen. Cheers and drost!

Bottle from Sammy. Dark orange-amber. Light head. Aroma is all grapefruit, where’s the funk? Double IPA disguised as Saison. All hops all the time. Grapefruit ninjas kicking Belgian farm boys ass.

Pours a cloudy, pale, golden-yellow with very thin head. Aroma is full of floral and citrus notes, with some mustiness in the background. Flavor is quite spicy--almost a bit peppery, and fruity, with the distinctive saison bite. This is a pretty good saison (based on my admittedly limited experience with the style).

22 oz bottled poured into my three floyds pint glass. Courtesy of my Chi town trading partner Chris, thanks man! dark apricot pour with a nice beige head. Smell is dirty malt, hay and hops. taste is semi sweet, earthy with a peppery finish. My first taste of a FFF saison. Overall pretty good, still prefer their other styles to this.

Bottle thanks to Kevin. Musty hoppy nose. Taste is similar to a Belgian IPA with a farmhouse mustiness. Very smooth body. Easy to drink. Sweet.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, pepper, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, dusty hops, fruits, yeast, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry spicy finish.

I smell and taste grapefruit, malts, spices, a touch of yeast, hops... and I possibly taste pears? This is a very good drink. Its also not going to corrupt or weaken the palate. Overall it is worth getting a bottle.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a cloudy gold with a thick frothy head. Pineapple aroma. Mellow and nice. Bitter finish.

Bottle shared at the Richmond Industry Gathering. Pours a clear copper color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big fruity notes... grapefruit, stone fruits and berries... and some dusty and herbal notes. The taste is bread malts, cherries, berries and herbal notes. Medium bodied. Nice.
