3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thanks to Kevin. Musty hoppy nose. Taste is similar to a Belgian IPA with a farmhouse mustiness. Very smooth body. Easy to drink. Sweet.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Drank at the brewpub. Maybe my favorite saison of all time. Light, refreshing and just a little funky. Palate is incredible. Soft and full, just like all of the great Three Floyd's stuff. Absolutely fantastic.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is melon and pineapple hops. Some spiciness. Taste is dry, melon, spicy. The flavor reminds me a little of a honey dew melon. Best saison I have had- 3 Floyds signatur hops make it so.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Purchased at In Fine Spirits in Chicago, IL after going to the dentist, enjoyed on a nice, cool mid-fall evening. Appearance is a very cloudy, bright orange/ruby red with a rich white head that laces to the glass. Aroma of spice, lemon peel, Belgian yeast, mango, definitely rich in tropical fruits. Taste goes down slightly bitter with pronounced fruit/lemon notes, finishes dry, pretty good stuff with noticeable complexities.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Glowing cloudy amber orange color. Spices dominate the aroma. Also has a bit of a sweet alcohol on the nose. From the aroma I would have guessed barleywine, certainly not saison. The first suprise on this beer are the massive amount of hops. Lots of citrius and tangerine come through. I had some Alpha King prior to this and you can immediatly notice the relationship. the finish has a bit of spicyness and bitterness. I have to admit that I havent had may of this style, but this seems to be quite a departure from the typical Saison Iíve had. I didnt get nearly as much of the banana and spice flavor but rather strong hops wth a spicy finish. Not sure if this is just better or it is just the result of the 3 floyds combination of lots of hops high ABV. Overall, a quite enjoyable beer.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle; Pour is fairly clear dark gold with an average off white head in this glass - retention is on the average side - with some sticky lacing present here. Another FFF Belgian - never a good start at this point. However - itís an interesting one because it embraces was FFF does (american hops) - i would call it a Saison / IIPA Hybrid. Unfortunately thereís a cat urine note on the nose ; dried apricots, pine, pineapple, and pear juice. What it doesnít have, which Iíve come to expect, is the feeling of a Belgian from the barnyard side of things. The flavor profile reminds a bit of a Dreadnaught lite (pine, grapefruit, caramel) with more tropical notes present. The spicing fuses with the breadiness fairly well - Insane art on the bottle - props for it

Bomber. Lots of citrus, a bit of sour and some sweetness. Really well balanced and goes down easy considering the ABV.

Pours a gorgeous glowing orange with a light haziness whispering through it. Grapefruit, tangerine in the nose with a nice spicy hoppiness. Creamy mouthfeel, zesty fruit in the flavor pops nicely and is complimented by more spicy hops and a sweet maltiness. Tangy dry finish. Tasty saison that drinks like an IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from the brewery brought by ck1, thanks bro! Digging into another FFF creation with a lot of anticipation. Pours a lovely oranger-than-pink-grapefruit with a spongey white head. Excellent lacing just coating the glass. Aroma has spices, fresh fruit and a yeasty presence. Faint citrus. Taste is of many fruits - lemon, orange, grapefruit, apple, melon - plus chewy resin, a spicyness and some malt. Quite bitter and very dry as you get down through the glass, with some alcohol presence. This is not your father or uncleís saison - much more assertively hoppy and strong. Liked this one a lot. Another win for Floyds!
