3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from "hannont". Colour...golden straw with no head. Nose...loads if tropical fruit with some peach and apricot. Palate...sweet but dry with lots of fruit and some ethanol to go with the predominate peach and apricot and moderate CO2.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Drank at the brewpub. Maybe my favorite saison of all time. Light, refreshing and just a little funky. Palate is incredible. Soft and full, just like all of the great Three Floyd's stuff. Absolutely fantastic.

Hazy orange pour from a bomber with nice white lacing and head. Floral nose. Nice mouthfeel, hoppy, citrus, spicy and refreshing!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber. Lots of citrus, a bit of sour and some sweetness. Really well balanced and goes down easy considering the ABV.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz bottle from Antioch Fine Wine and Spirits, split with my wife. Pours a bright, amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is a little bready, but mainly hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, cereal, a little bitter, grassy hops, with a light bitter finish. A pretty decent beer, but not much of a saison in my opinion.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from the brewery brought by ck1, thanks bro! Digging into another FFF creation with a lot of anticipation. Pours a lovely oranger-than-pink-grapefruit with a spongey white head. Excellent lacing just coating the glass. Aroma has spices, fresh fruit and a yeasty presence. Faint citrus. Taste is of many fruits - lemon, orange, grapefruit, apple, melon - plus chewy resin, a spicyness and some malt. Quite bitter and very dry as you get down through the glass, with some alcohol presence. This is not your father or uncle’s saison - much more assertively hoppy and strong. Liked this one a lot. Another win for Floyds!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Glowing cloudy amber orange color. Spices dominate the aroma. Also has a bit of a sweet alcohol on the nose. From the aroma I would have guessed barleywine, certainly not saison. The first suprise on this beer are the massive amount of hops. Lots of citrius and tangerine come through. I had some Alpha King prior to this and you can immediatly notice the relationship. the finish has a bit of spicyness and bitterness. I have to admit that I havent had may of this style, but this seems to be quite a departure from the typical Saison I’ve had. I didnt get nearly as much of the banana and spice flavor but rather strong hops wth a spicy finish. Not sure if this is just better or it is just the result of the 3 floyds combination of lots of hops high ABV. Overall, a quite enjoyable beer.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap at the brewpub, served in a tulip. Translucent Amber-apricot color pour with a sticky white head. It actually forms an Alpha King crown lace on the glass! Aroma of dried apricot and cut grass. Taste is sweet malt with citrus rind, and a real Earthy quality. Pretty fucking delicious. Full Mouthfeel that coats the tongue leaving you feel like you just sipped heavy cream. A little boozy but so quite good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2012 Bottle, 09/09/2012. Pours cloudy dark orange, thin white head, thin soapy lacing. Aroma of thick buttermilk bread, yeast, light spices, vanilla, mild earthy bitterness. Hops, though not much present in the nose, burst forward in the taste, citrus and grapefruit, bready malts underneath with spicy finish, bitter fruity aftertaste. Dense body, high carbonation. Well, alright, but I expected a bit more from these two brewers.
Re-rate from second bottle 09/12/2012- Aroma much improved, lots of pineapple, mango, citrus, hops much more evident to help make the whole thing more cohesive. Maybe some bottle variation?
