Now this is a saison! This refreshing Belgian-style ale is the combined effort of Three Floyds and De Molen’s fantastic brewer Menno (the real Dutch Hercules). This spicy and bracing ale was brewed in Munster, but look out for the one we brew in Holland at DeMolen. Cheers and drost!

Hazy orangeish gold pour. Head quickly dissipates with no lacing. Smell is sweet, nice hoppy scents, tropical fruit, citrus, some bubblegum. Really IPA like with a hint of yeastiness. The flavor is goood. Melon, tropical, citrus, candylike malt, slight white wine, sweet but not overpowering. A slight touch of booze in the finish. A tasty brew. An example of the proper way to do a collaboration beer. And btw the label is freaking hilarious and awesome.

Smooth grapefruit juice, hoppy yet not bitter, a great balance of spice and malt makes it a very tasty beverage indeed.Grapefruit aroma. Cloudy grapefruit appearance with some retained head.

Bottle. Orange, peach, grapefruit, and musty malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large white head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter herbal flavor. Not a bad beer - very sweet for a saison.

651mL thanks to tastybeer. Pours full haze deep orange amber. Massive, creamy, buttermilk head. Enormous retention and lace. Nose is heavier red apple, oxidized apple. Taste is thicker and denser for style, creamy, sweet, orange cream sickle. Palate is thicker, quick finish. Interesting. Not a bright and quenching saison. Mild bitterness, small sweet cream butter, small alcohol heat. I'd place this as- well- nothing. No special yeast strain, under attenuated, sort of like homebrew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pouts a hazy deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with some light fruit, grain and light spice. Flavor starts with some bitter citrus that mellows to allow some light fruit and light spice to come out.

Bomber. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Some sediment noticeable. Bready, caramel - comes off more like a mild barley wine. Not bad but far from a typical saison.

Bottle shared at Dean’s sticky floor tasting 2 thanks to Allesmetkaas. Pours hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, fruity hops, damp. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Slightly thick mouthfeel with an alcohol kick in the finish. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice, but not as good as expected.

22 oz. bottle shared by Jason- thanks a ton, man! You guys crushed my wants list last night. I owe the STL crew big time. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on oranges and tangerines, then mango, straw, funk, bread, and herbs. The flavor is dry up front with sawdust and herbs, and gives way to the tangerine and mango fruitiness, along with floral hops, bread and funk. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, floral, woody mouthfeel. Really unique saison.

Aroma is sweetish with apricot, biscuits, fruits and caramel. Flavour is rather strong on apricot, some fruity notes. Finishes with apricot, grassy notes and hints of peppery spices. Becomes even too strong on herbs and spices at the end of the glass. Not bad anyway.
