3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ Sticky floor tasting II thanks to Chris H (allesmetkaas). A bit unclear orange color, small off-white head. Aroma has lightly malts, lightly hops, yeast. Taste lightly malts, hops, lightly alcohol and a bit yeasty. A touch of bitter towards the end. Honestly this a a disappointment. Balanced, but I expected more.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Orange, peach, grapefruit, and musty malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large white head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter herbal flavor. Not a bad beer - very sweet for a saison.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy orangeish gold pour. Head quickly dissipates with no lacing.
Smell is sweet, nice hoppy scents, tropical fruit, citrus, some bubblegum. Really IPA like with a hint of yeastiness.
The flavor is goood. Melon, tropical, citrus, candylike malt, slight white wine, sweet but not overpowering. A slight touch of booze in the finish.
A tasty brew. An example of the proper way to do a collaboration beer.
And btw the label is freaking hilarious and awesome.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pouts a hazy deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with some light fruit, grain and light spice. Flavor starts with some bitter citrus that mellows to allow some light fruit and light spice to come out.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bottle shared by Jason- thanks a ton, man! You guys crushed my wants list last night. I owe the STL crew big time. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on oranges and tangerines, then mango, straw, funk, bread, and herbs. The flavor is dry up front with sawdust and herbs, and gives way to the tangerine and mango fruitiness, along with floral hops, bread and funk. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, floral, woody mouthfeel. Really unique saison.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of fruity notes (tropical fruits), some Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Flavour brings out mounds of tropical fruits (pineapple, mangos), resinous hops, and bitter zesty hops. Full of flavour, especially tropical fruits and zesty resinous hops. Not a traditional saison by any means, but for what it is, it’s wonderful.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Some sediment noticeable. Bready, caramel - comes off more like a mild barley wine. Not bad but far from a typical saison.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber bottle and served in an Unibroue tulip: Pours a deep golden honey hue with an initial huge head which left very good lace upon the glassware The aroma as notes of biscuit, pils, honey, aromatic and crystal mats along with grains of paradise and oregano spice vapours, light to moderate grassy and citric hop esters. The taste is similar to the nose, malty yet not sweet with a noticeable spicy midesection and finish embraced by even handed bitterness, ever present citric notes lets you know this is not an olde word Saison. My only real complaint is the noticeable presence of alcohol which reduces the refreshment factor often found in the genre. Lively crisp and biting mouthfeel, yeah it is a Floyds take on Saison. I would drink this again.
