COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Now this is a saison! This refreshing Belgian-style ale is the combined effort of Three Floyds and De Molen’s fantastic brewer Menno (the real Dutch Hercules). This spicy and bracing ale was brewed in Munster, but look out for the one we brew in Holland at DeMolen. Cheers and drost!

65 cl. bottle sampled @ Kraddel does 1K tasting. Procured by Kraddel. Cheers. Golden amber with little white head. Nose is huge on hops, USA, pine, big hay, lots of spices, big pepper, spicy yeast and quite rustic, nice. Taste is surprisingly bitter, very bitter hay, feels like there is quite a lot of old world hops in here as well, Eastern-EU?, grass, lots of barn, very big hay, huge raw spicy yeast, very lingering, grass, light zest, pepper, huge ester. Lovely but so harsh that it is almost hard to drink a glass, let alone a 22 oz. Ridiculously dry body. Quite lovely.

Bottle... Poured golden/orange hue with a white head. This was quite spicy and insanely dry. Some malted sweetness that meshed with citrus and floral/grass and more yeast-like spices. A bright saison for sure.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of light yeasty notes, some pale and caramel malts, and light hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not that great.

I had this one a while back and must have forgotten to review it. Soft hazy blonde pour with a white rocky head. Spicy/zesty aroma and flavor with a round bitterness and firm backing. Stone fruit and bready notes come through with a subtle yeastyness.

Bomber: Pours bright, hazy, orange with a tall, off-white head. Aroma is sweet grapefruit hoppy. Taste is sweet tropical.....pineapple, tangerine, sweet spice...creamy. Candy sweet....with a slight bitter finish. Very light and soft feel. Sort of a light IPA wrapped around a fruit cocktail. One nice drinking Saison from 3F....

Aroma is piney/grapefruit hops and an undercurrent of spicy yeast. The flavor is grapefruit, tropical fruit, an undercurrent of mildly sweet malts, spices and a bitter/tart finish.

Pours dark orange with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of hoppy fruits, floral notes, spices, malts and crisp lemony notes. Taste is hoppy, floral, lemony, fruity and spicy with notes of crisp maltiness. Finish is bitter, hoppy and floral with some spicy notes and hints of fruits. Quite nice hoppy saison.
