At Zeebra II. Dark orange colour on the body, crystal clear, with a small off-white head. Light lacing left on the glass.
Aroma is quite fruity, mostly dark frutis like prunes, a bit of wheat, malts, some hops. Taste is also fruity, hops, wheat, grass, light toffee. More bitter than I expected. Medium body, very dry, with good carbonation. Overall a great beer, reminded me of double IPA

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber, reddish beer with a big off white head on top. Aroma has touches of caramel, vineous, some wheat in there and a touch of booze. Light fruity character in both aroma and taste. Flavor is bittersweet with sweet alcohol and wheat on side and hoppy barley wine influences on the other. Some dark fruits in there, light cloying sweetness in the back. A bit thin for a barley wine, but then again, this is actually a wheat wine. Nice complexity going on and definitely a nice beer to enjoy over an evening and to easily warm up over time. Very nice.

Wow. Quite sweet like a desert wine. Very smooth considering its strength. Caramel and fruit from the malt. Great example of a barley wine.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a deep dirty cloudy brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of heavy residual sugars with some dry grainy notes is quite intense. Taste is also dominated by heavy amounts of residual sugars with some dry grainy malt of wheat. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. A bit intense to drink in large quantities but interesting nonetheless.
