On tap at the Three Floyds Brewpub. Hazed golden pour with a big white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, hops, some tangerine and orange. Some notes of gumballs, fresh cut grass, and flowers. Some bread and crackery malt behind the hop forward aroma. Flavor is strongly hoppy and bitter with lots of tangerine and candy hop notes. Grassy, herbal citrus hop notes. Lovely, actually. Nice bright carbonation. Very smooth. Another great chapter in a history of great pale ales from Three Floyds.

On tap at the brewpub and also had a few pours at the anniversary party... Pours a mostly transparent cidery orange brown hue and topped with a medium frothy white head... Crispy bready malt with a helpful dose of juicy tangerine citrus sweetness. Nice solid hop forward aroma.. Flavors are bready crackery malt base and a mild citrusy hop bent. Pronounced grassy bitteness through the middle and well on through the finish. Prickly lively carbonation and mouthfeel. Nice and easily drinkable though Id choose others over this.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a crystal clear, lighter golden colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruits and light tropical fruits with a bit of a grassiness and some florals. Somewhat grainy pale malt backing behind the hops. Flavor is similar. Somewhat grassy throughout with a good amount of citruses and a few floral tropical fruits. A grainy pale malt backing before this finishes crisp, clean, and lightly bitter with some grassy fruits. Lengthy aftertaste following a thinner feeling body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a crisp, clean, tasty pale ale with a nice hopping, but a tad on the thin side. Nice beer though.

Draft at three Floyd's brewpub. Orange clear pour. Medium head. Can't smell much. Crisp fruity taste with mild hops. Very easy drinking. Good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had a very different hop profile, had some roasted grain notes as well. Taste was similar with a sweet caramel like and nut flavors. Very refreshing but quite a different brew.

Deep golden pour, white fluffy lingering head. Nose is very prominent citrus, pine, grapefruit, tangerine. Flavors are all hop forward...citrus and pine. Some decent caramel malt sweetness with some moderate bready notes. Makes a really good summer refresher after cutting the grass. Quite well done.

Putting down some old ratings of stuff that appears gone, On tap at the brewpub several times. Probably the lightest (I)PA ive had from 3Floyds. Still has lots of citrius and some pine hops in there, but less of it with a lighter body. Still tasty and refreshing. Sort of reminds me of what Zombie Dust light would taste like.

Huge head on top of a clear gold pour. Aroma of grain with a light mouth. Taste is full of grain and malted barley. Very easy drinking. Great lacing. Almost has a taste of corn nuts.

Enjoyed on tap at the source. Served in a nonic pint. A: Pours a clear golden amber color with a two finger height of pure white head forming on the pour. The head has some nice retention and it recedes slowly down the glass leaving some sticky lace behind. S: Sweet berry with honeydew melon. Light biscuity malts in the periphery with a kiss of citrus fruits. T: Dry biscuit malt. Green, fruity hops with some nice citrus. Im getting a sweet, yeasty note in there as well which is interesting. M: Light bodied with some medium to medium high carbonation. The finish is clean, and slighty drying. O: I enjoyed this, but this was the last beer of my FFF stop and I think my palate might have been a little wrecked after two other beers and a BBQ pulled pork. Im definitely going to revist the next time I go. If my thoughts are any different Ill be sure to update my review. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 09-28-2012
