Rated on 6-01-2012 at Brew Haven Ticket Release Party at Trion Tavern-New Haven, IN. This draft beer has a small off-white head, hazy golden body, very little carbonation observed, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is floral, grass, pine, citrus hops, spicy, and malt. The flavor is moderately hoppy, floral, grass, pine, citrus hops, spicy, and some malt. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer has a good flavor and for the style is not overly hoppy tasting which is quite a surprise given this is a Three Floyds beer.

Tap at FFF. Unfiltered glowing orange-tan. Massive steady foamy head. Big and thick and sugary. This is nice, but maybe not quite up to FFF standards. Sort of like Westmalle Tripel(?) Mango smoked tobacco, Candy sugar, but way more depth than most Tripels. A pinch unrefined and sugary, but still pretty great.

This draft brew from a beer festival poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent light orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was citrus and hoppy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of citrus fruity hops and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

On tap at Brew Pub. Pours a hazy orangish yellow color with a creamy head that dissapates slowly and leaves lacing. Smells of sweet citrus hops with a mix of belgian spices and banana. Lots of alcohol underneath as well. The taste is indeed bitter and has a pretty good balance of banana and clove and citrusy hop notes. Light bready malt. Incredibly well hidden abv. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth texture, and a nice dry finish.

draft, drank back right after it was released. pours hazed golden with white head. big juicy hop notes grapefruit and pine, citrus, and spicy yeast profile. flavor has the same, a great balance of spicy yeast with big sturdy hop bitterness and grapefruity flavors. one of my favorite belgian ipa.

Pale cloudy pour. Single finger head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Funky cheese and citrus taste. Creamy mouth. Hints of a Belgian sugary Triple. Not amazing, but not bad either.

From the tap poured a brown color with a good amount of head. Spicy malty hoppy flavor with a lasting aftertaste.

In a tulip glass at the pub.
Hazed orange with a fluffy beige head. Citrus dough and pine hops with some belgian yeast that's rich and inviting. Some times Belgians like this can have a young or overpowering yeast flavor. But this works really well. The doughy yeast grass/herb hops with lemon. Fresh tasty. Goes down well 7/4/8/4/15

Draft, served in a tulip at Dash In in Fort Wayne, IN.
My first few sips were actually pretty disappointing, but it opened up nicely after about 5 minutes. The aroma is sweet and apricot-y, not overbearing in the sugars. There's just the perfect touch of funky yeast flavor in the finish and a lingering heat from the alcohol (9%).
