Three CHEERS for Three Floyds! The bottle unleashed a dark amber brew with a smallish head that left a slight lacing. The aroma was hoppy and full of citrus. IPA's/APA's are my favorite style and this ranks as one of my favorite. I drank 3 bottles for the 3 Floyds and could have kept going!

Poured this one like a sunofabiatch. I hate it when I pour in a big ass hurry. Big and I mean big foam. The smell of the liquid was intense, of course it could be because it was flowing down my hand. First taste had the hop hit and then settled down to be a decent brew.

My favorite beer, hands down. Not sure if its an IPA or APA, but I could drink this every day and be happy. Wonderful hop aroma and flavor, and enough bitterness, but not too much. As much as I love Dreadnaught, I actually like this beer better.

Nice amber color with a decent white head. Super hoppy in both flavor and aroma.

Now this is the way an IPA should taste! This pours a warm amber color which draws you silently into it's womb before it unleashes the hounds of hell. The strongs hops are perfectly balanced with the butterscotch malt. Hints of citrus flavors flog your ass and make you plead for more.

pours a darker shade of amber with a thin layer of head and no lacing. Strong aroma of hops, mostly citrus. Nice and smooth flavor of hops and malt. Very palatable, finishing with small alcohol tones. Nice pale.

Pours a lightly hazy auburn color with light head and average lacing. Aroma is hugely hoppy with a combination of fresh citrus & musky hops, very refined. Flavor is not very bitter as the aroma would elude you believe, it is actual very mild and easy to drink. Finishes with a light hop bite and a touch of alcohol. The malt balances this one perfectly. One of the best APAs I've ever had, this is how they should be done.

Bottle Clear, glowing reddish-amber with a light tan head that holds at a thick cap. Wonderful aroma of pine resin and grapefruit soaked hops. Very little malt discernable on the nose…a touch of sweet caramel and bread. The flavor is a lopsided balance skewed towards the hoppy side, with lots of spicy, complex hop flavor and sturdy bitterness. Grapefruit, pine resin, the hops are almost sweet in character. The only flaw in this brew is that the caramelly and bready malt backbone is a bit thin, and it shows in the body, which is on the lighter side of medium. Ends with a firm bitterness, as well as a hint of alcoholic dryness. More malt, and it would be Dreadnaught Jr. Overall, an incredible brew and a constant in my beer fridge, despite it’s little flaw.

(tap@ Clark St. Ale House) Nice amber/copper body, a dense, sticky white head, real hoppy. pale malts emerge as well though. predominantly floral and citrucy hop load. cleans up very nicely, not resinous and bitter, butlight caramel malt notes, crackery and tasty along with the citrucy, crisp hop bitters. a building fruity/floral hop character is the final development. A GREAT apa
