Copper colored with a medium size head and good lacing. Hoppy floral aroma. Distinct lemon/citrus taste with a crisp, dry finish.

Clear orange color with a nice thick beige head. The aroma was wonderfully sweet and citrusy. The flavor was very sweet, malty, slightly hoppy (not as much as the aroma would make you expect), and some caramel, and great pine tones. Great thick feel...smooth on the tongue. Great APA.

Clear amber coloured beer with a small head. Strong ginger, herby, floral taste. A bit too much flavour added for my taste, but ok nevertheless.

Another tasty three floyds offering that will make hopheads smile. I find the hops sharper and more citrusy than in DN, but there is a lighter body and less malt here.

Frothy off-white head. Clear orange copper color. Malty aroma with hint of hops. Very mellow. Bitter beginning, malty middle, and a quick good dry finish. Medium bodied and dry. Bitterness lingers.

Alpha King is one of the best balanced pale ales you'll ever taste. Clean hoppy and refreshing.

12 oz. longneck brown bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a dark orange color, with a green tinted tan head. The head didn't last long, and it did leave some lacing down the sides of the glass. Aromas...where to start? Right off the bat, it is apparent this beer is full of fresh hops. Floral, piney, resinous smelling hops are very noticeable here gang. Slight dry biscuit aroma quickly fades. The hops are what makes this beer great, though. Sticky mouthfeel, slight coating of the old tongue. Finishes bitter & very hoppy. A pretty good IPA, but not quite as good as their Dreadnaught.

Pours a nice deep amber with a medium, lasting head. Aroma spicy, floral and the signature 3f grapefruit scent. I was wondering what the difference between their IPA and the APA would be; they are somewhat different beers. This one seems to have a little more roasted flavor, and not as intensely hopped. It is not as sweet as Dreadnaught, and of course not as strong ABV. Perhaps also a little more drinkable (and less dangerous) in large quantities. All-in-all a very fine beer.
