4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A - Hazy dark copper with a dense off white head, nice lacing on the upper portion of the glass.
S - Vibrant citrus hop aroma, caramel malts, hints of pine mixed in.
T - Candy citrus, lemon and bright orange flavors, green hops, a solid background of toasted barley and caramel, bitterness starts in the middle with and pairs with the carbonation for a peppery bite. Citrus peel and oils start coming out toward the end along with apricots and general stone fruit flavors. Finishes bitter with some orange oils left on the tongue.
M - Medium/heavy body, lively/stingy carbonation.
I’ve been waiting a long time to try this beer and it did not disappoint. Fresh bright aroma, zesty citrus hop flavor with a spicy bitterness on the back end. Malt bill was perfect for the amount of hops used. Well crafted and highly enjoyed.

Gorgeous, absolutely worth the wait to try this one. Wish I was having it in July, not November, but oh well. Citrus and grapefruit hop deliciousness. Well done.

Bottle. Medium gold pour with a nice white head. Lacing is apparent here. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, and caramel. Wonderful flavors of mango, lemon, toasted grain, and finishing with more tropical fruit. Nice carbonation and body. Insanely drinkable and a joy in a glass. Damn

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Color is a medium dark translucent amber. Smells of fresh oranges and hops. Taste of bitterness like an IPA. Pine, spruce and citrus flavor with very nice hoppyness. Very drinkable, gets better with each and every sip. Gets you wanting another and another. Best served at about 45 degrees. Very good APA from 3 floyds. Better than Zombie Dust in my opinion.

So this is a crazy good APA. If it weren’t for pseudosue stealing my heart a few days ago.. I would have a new favorite... Amazing tropical fruit nose. Mango, papaya, and melon. You great sweet fruity notes in the mouth with a citrus hop bitterness. I could drink this all day.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The aroma fills your nose with citrus with just a little bit of piney. Appears a deep amber with a quarter inch head that dissipates but leaves sticky residue as it settles. Taste is juicy grapefruit up front and tapers into a bitter rind and ends with just the right amount of bitter citrus. Palate has a good amount of carbonation with a slightly sticky feel but doesn’t hang around for too long. Overall, a great apa that brings down what others call their ipa.
