Bottle. Citrus aroma with a murky brown appearance. Thin whit head that dissipates over light carbonation. It's hoppy and has caramel flavors. Well balanced and nice complexity.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear deep amber with a thick rim head, cascades of lace. A good looking brew. Taste is caramel malt with an immediate overtone of floral and citrus hops. Both sides compliment each other (rare in IPAs) as they move right through to a lingering finish. Sometimes the best beers are the simplest. This seems like one of those, because all aspects are in such perfect balance. Exceptional.

Bottle to shaker - deep rust with an average head and lacing. Nice hop aroma and an orange-lemon hop taste. Somewhat dry finish. Refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Another FFF brew thanks to gumballdust. Pours a slightly murky reddish amber. Much darker than I was anticipating. Has a frothy off whit head that seems to be sticking around pretty well. Aroma is heavy on the hops. Pine resin, big floral notes, and hints of sweet citrus. Flavor is slightly more balanced than the aroma was letting on. The hops are still at the forefront of this beer but there is a malty sweetness throughout. Has a bit of a maple syrupy kind of sweetness to it actually. Overall a solid beer. Not sure if it quite lives up to the "100" rating but a solid beer nonetheless.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends @ home. Bottled 16 january 2014.
App: Hazy and deep redish/orange amber with a short thick yellowed head.
Aroma: Grapefruit, caramel, spun sugar and then a good pinch of resin and pine. Pretty simple but very nice.
Taste: Sweet with spun sugar/caramel, grapefruit, blood orange, litchi that blend together really nice and then finishes with a robust resiny and piney bitterness.
Palate: Medium bodied, soft carbonation, slight oily.
Overall: Very good APA that really shows FFFs high class. And though it’s four mounths old it’s very tasty and doesn’t feel all too tired. Sturdy enough to almost count as an IPA. Very good.

Vey good. Great taste and body. Critique is with some expectations. Wanted a little more fruity citrus flavors and less oily component. Yet still really enjoyable and world class.

4 days in the bottle. To glass. Pours a clear perfect amber color with a thin light tan head. Aroma is fleshy, tropical fruits, light molasses sweetness. Light to medium in body with an oily mouth feel, lingering bitter and sweet. Very very tasty!

Burnt orange color, pours a thick creamy head with good lacing. Smells of strong, sharp hops on opening 12 ounce bottle. Centennial and Cascade hops detected, indeed very hoppy, reminds me of an IPA. Good bitterness on the aftertaste. Very drinkable for hops lovers. A favorite.

Blind tasting with the S&G Tasting group. THX to Mathieu87!
Only wrote down some small words and the score.
Probably the best on of the first part of the tasting. (IPA + American Pale Ale)
