tap. Amber with one finger head. It’s hard to find a brewery better at making hop bombs. This is an outstanding IPA.

Perfect!!! A great beer!!! Citrus hops with a little but of pine and sweetness to it. Smooth and delicious. The hops aren’t over powering and the hops blend really with the malt

Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen. Deep fruity smell with dried fruit, citrus and hops. Similar taste. Very easy to drink. Just the right level of bitterness to balance out the sweetness.

Amber malts hit the nose paired with some Citrus hops. Mouthfeel is adequate but the balance is great. Malts are loud but the hops keep up. Finish goes on a hoppy journey from earthy to citrus with a finish of grassy/piney. Really fun!!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours clear, dark golden, finger, thick, creamy head. Aroma citrus, earthy, piney floral hops, bready malt, slightly fruity. Taste fresh citrus, pine, earthy up front, bready malt, floral hops mid mouth slight bitterness lingers. Mouthfeel medium, medium carbonation, balanced finish . Overall tremendous, complex, balanced, huge flavor yet extremely drinkable. I do not see how a better pale ale could be made.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: pours a hazy orangish color with a big foamy white head. Aroma is resin, and some strong piney citrus smells. Some caramel as well. Taste is all hops at first, smacking you in the face with a bitter grapefruit and pine taste, after a bit, the nice biscuits and malt comes through. Very active carbonation makes this one a joy to drink.

Beautiful color, surprisingly sweet floral scent, full mouth feel. Everything you could want from the style, save a slightly more balanced finish.

Very good, but not even close to the best I’ve had for a saturated style. Maybe circa 1999 this was ahead of its time. Now it’s just a well-balanced pale ale that does a great job of balancing the hop heavy nose with a malty body. Pours dark brown with good head and lacing. Soft carbonation, light bitter finish with some malt. Bottle thanks to bmoosey.
