Smells like a christmas tree. Dark red/amber color. Citrus up front, pine flavor lingers and is followed by a malt sweetness that lingers after swallowing. Has the same mouthfeel as toasted bread dipped in egg yolk (but none of the yolk taste if you catch my drift). I’ve had the pleasure of drinking this beer more than once and will drink it again if I get the chance.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2013 Pours a very nice amber color. Citrus aroma laced with hops. Quite nice. The taste is very similar. Citrus, lemon and a smooth grassy/hoppy finish. By no means overpowering. Very light and easy to drink. Very good pale ale.

Loved this beer. Got it in a trade and now am very upset I only have 4 left... Very quaffable. Citrus nose and a wonderful bitter palate that doesnt leave my mouth feeling assaulted. If you can get it. This is a staple of your fridge.

Too me, this was the perfect drinkable (more than just one) IPA. I love Hops and this beer is the perfect balance of strong hops and flavor without overpowering the overall balance of the beer. Just wish I could get more in NC!

Pours a dark gold-amber color with a thick white head. Fairly clear. Aroma of citrus and raisin. Tastes of grapefruit citrus hops and bready malt. Delicious beer.

Amber with good head and lacing. Light aroma of citrus and semi sharp pine. Same in taste with some lemon, but sweet first and then soft bitter hits with grassy notes. Moderate mouthfeel with semi dry finish. Good APA. I liked and would drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light citrus pine smell. Pours a orange amber color. Taste is sweet up front with more of a grassy bitter in the middle that sticks with the tongue. Palate is not a balanced and smooths as the Zombie Dust. Okay but not as good as the Zombie. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This pours a semi-cloudy medium brown color with a slight off-white head. The aroma is mild with scents of hops with hints of grains and citrus. The taste starts off as a bold, rich pale ale and than finishes with an extra amount of crisp bitterness. This is about as perfect of a pale ale as I’ve ever have had the pleasure of drinking.

Awesome appearance of cloudy brown and copper awesomeness. unfortunately this didn’t knock my socks off except for the color. very lacking aroma, not super bitter or hoppy taste. definitely a great beer, and i will try it again to make sure, but it was relatively uneventful in flavor for a beer that is rated so highly on here. normal IPA flavor and body in general

I poured this brew into my Dogfish Head glass and received a warm amber colored body with about a 1/2 fingers worth of an off white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was earthy (tell-tale of Warrior hops) mixed with hints of citrus. The flavor punched your palate immediately with a solid blast of bitterness followed by some earthy hop flavors and toasted malt. The body was light to medium and left your mouth dry afterwards.
