4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 UnionBeerCzar (75) - Michigan, USA - JAN 28, 201312 oz. bottle to Bristol pint glass, thanks again RudiNicole. Pours a deep amber, slight haze, this almost gets to the red end of the spectrum on the color. Huge off-white head, damn another great smelling beer from fff, floral, spicey, tropical, great nose! This also taste as good as advertised, perfectly balanced (balanced to my Americanized hop destroyed palate) its the perfect step back from an American IPA proper. Citrusy hoppy on the palate immediately balanced by the malts. The finish is also clean v. an IPA which I am actually digging a lot. Low to medium mouthfeel without being thin, great beer great flavor, just a great example of the style. Top notch! Seek, seek and destroy,

The color of this beer is a dark orange color with a medium frothy head, and the aroma is reminiscent of floral and resin hops. The taste is quite bitter and a touch sour, and the palate combines a sticky texture, medium body, bitter finish, and a soft carbonation.

Bottle. Amber pour with white head. Smells of hops. Does not taste as bitter as the nose would suggest. Very good hop flavor.

4.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 Lupulucid (29) - - JUN 4, 2013
Every really good beer has some characteristic which is phenomenal. Here, it’s the finish which is long and lovely. Aroma is not pronounced but flavor is rich and appealing if not racy. Sweetness from malt is mild but sustaining counterpoint to a backbone of bitterness in balance with hop resiny hop flavor.
