4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The aroma fills your nose with citrus with just a little bit of piney. Appears a deep amber with a quarter inch head that dissipates but leaves sticky residue as it settles. Taste is juicy grapefruit up front and tapers into a bitter rind and ends with just the right amount of bitter citrus. Palate has a good amount of carbonation with a slightly sticky feel but doesn’t hang around for too long. Overall, a great apa that brings down what others call their ipa.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
It has beautiful white foam, a great aroma of hops and citrus fruit. The taste is rich and saturated with good fruit, hops bitterness is strongly defined, reminiscent of an American IPA. It is both thirst-quenching and at the same time fantastically tasty and expressive.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fair. This has a little to offer in a lot of areas but doesn't excel in any one area. I feel it's just an average at best pale ale. The hop characteristics are far too muted and dull for my liking when it comes to a good apa. Plus the prices point is far too high. 6 pack of this avg apa for $14 or an amazing say fist city 6 pack for $9. Or a half acre daisy cutter. Not about the price though. The beer here is nice to try but average at best for me.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Map Room CHI: pours dark golden Amber, cloudy with sticky foam head. Aroma of hops, fruity...mild kind buddish. First sip hits with the hops, follows with the fruit. Nice aftertaste, very nice drinking. One of my all time favorites in the IPA Realm.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a slight darker pale ale with a modest head and some lacing in a tulip. Lizardville. Aromas of citrus, hay and straw field, cut grass and weeds, some pine resin. Taste is the powerful hops but a malty backbone to balance. Good carb, pushy and aggressive finish. Great pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is on par with other pale ales. It is good but not great. Definitely not 3f best beer. Not enough hops and a little to much malt for my liking.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Carbonatation faible, corps moyen.

12 ounce bottle brought back from Indiana. Pours a dark straw collor with an adequate head that dissapates rapidly. Nose is of an IPA and not a pale ale.Tasta reminds me of a good IPA as well. This is amongst my favorite pale ales.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle, thanks Mr. Robbins. Aroma is perfumy, age. Pours hazy burnt orange with a medium cream-colored head with excellent retention and lace. Taste has a medium-level bitterness backed by a weird candy sweetness. I’m betting this is pretty old. Too bad 3 Floyds doesn’t date their bottles. And it’s also too bad my first 3 Floyds experience outside of collaborations was marred by old beer! I’ll give it some benefit of the doubt and not give it a completely horrible score.
