UPDATED: FEB 8, 2007 Pours an amber color with an orange color on the edges. Has a thin off-white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, pine hops, and caramel. Flavor is the same with huge citrus and pine hops. Gives way to the caramel flavor and finally finishes decently bitter. Very delicious APA, probably one of my favorites.

The color of this beer is a dark orange color with a medium frothy head, and the aroma is reminiscent of floral and resin hops. The taste is quite bitter and a touch sour, and the palate combines a sticky texture, medium body, bitter finish, and a soft carbonation.

Bottle. Amber pour with white head. Smells of hops. Does not taste as bitter as the nose would suggest. Very good hop flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from three Floyd’s. aroma is sweet caramel, citrus, mango, and a touch of pine. Flavor is citrus, tropical fruit, caramel, pine, and mango. Amazing beer more of a Ipa than a pale ale too me. Extremely balanced and loaded with flavor. Amazing beer!!!

Draught @ Mikkeller&Friends. Pours clear red/amber with a good lacing and fully lasting frothy off-white medium head. Aroma is red berries, caramel, flowery, citrus, pine, toasted malts and grass. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium, texture is smooth, carbonation is soft. Finishes sweet with bitterness and lingering fruit.

On tap @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours slightly hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops with notes of citrus. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of pine needles, grass and citrus. Dryish aftertaste. Yummy.

Every really good beer has some characteristic which is phenomenal. Here, it’s the finish which is long and lovely. Aroma is not pronounced but flavor is rich and appealing if not racy. Sweetness from malt is mild but sustaining counterpoint to a backbone of bitterness in balance with hop resiny hop flavor.

Dark amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus and grapefruit. Hoppy bitter flavour, somewhat sweet, apricot, tropical fruits, lots of hops. Hoppy finish, bitter, some honey.
Nice and balanced!
