Thanks again to Haslinger for bringing along this brew. Pour was medium golden with white head. Aroma was real hoppy accompanied by some malt. Flavor has a nice floral and citrus character. Very smooth brew with a nice balanced hop character. This was delicious. I would buy again.

Pint at Chumley’s in Lafayette, IN. Clear copper with a small light tan head. Rich pine and resin, deep caramel, congress very close to an IPA. Medium body, gentle effervescence. A nice blend of rich caramel and toffee malts with good pine and resin, grapefruit, nice; dry with nice bitterness and a richly malty and fruity hops finish.

Tasted this on tap at the 8th Street Ale Haus in Sheboygan, Wisconsin so I didn’t get great notes. Delicious! Complex, balanced, hoppy.

On tap at Apex for Gigantic Beer Week. A: Nearly red with a thin white head. Fairly translucent. N: Good nose with a pure pineapple and pine nose. A hin tof mango, some earth, and plenty of malt shining through. T: Well balanced while leaning towards the hoppy side. Lots of biscuit, and plenty more of the pine. Showcases the hops well. M: Dry with a round mouthfeel. It’s quite light and very easy to drink. O: Cleans out the palate while remaining easy to put back. I would have this any time, and I’m really glad I was able to try it on tap. It’s strange how good Three Floyds is with APA and yet their DIPAs are at best, average.

On draught at Gigantic’s Chicagoland Beers event at Apex. Dark amber color. Hoppy citrus aroma. Malty and hoppy, with a nice balance of light citrus and smooth malt. Finishes with lingering malt. Might be the best American Pale I’ve had.

One of the easiest to drink beers. Great hop choices make for great aroma and hoppy citrus taste without the bitter after taste of an IPA.

On tap. Pours a beautiful hazy dark amber with low off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, bread, fruit, light citrus. Taste is incredibly balanced, sweet caramel with a very distinct yet nuanced bitterness. Long, godly bitter malt finish. Light body with soft to average carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours a murky medium amber. Nose is very clean, with tropical fruits and caramel. Taste is peach and apricot with caramel, grass and resin. Very very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
