22 oz. bottle shared by Michael. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head. The nose is a bit boozy with big sweet malts, caramel, dark ripe fruits and a touch of banana. There is a bit of oxidation, but less than I might have expected. The flavor had big sweet malts, caramel, vanilla, bourbon notes and some oxidation. I thought for its age this is holding up nicely. Thanks for the taste!

bottle shared generously at the Jackie O’s release... pours a dirty gold with lots of copper, whispy off white head... the nose is hot, can’t believe how boozy after all this time... tastes really boozy as well, not much going on... at this age is time to pass

Pours dark gold/orange with a bit of haze. Smells of booze, bananas, and belgian yeast. Taste is very complex with strong booze, light caramel, belgian yeast, lots of candi sugar and banana notes. A really big beer but amazingly drinkable.

thanks to Greg for the opportunity. Pours a light carmel brown color with a small head. Smell is of a lot of yeast esters. banana, spice wheaty malt. clean smell overall. Taste is very malty but not overly sweet. it’s sweet but the banana, spice yeast esters and a bitterness rounds out the sweetness. Mouthfeel is full and rich with a bit of heat but not too much. Overall very enjoyable sampling.

Mostly clear with a yellow/orange/brownish hue - nice sized layer of white foamy head on top. Very sweet in the aroma and flavor wise (but not to the point of making it undrinkable by any means) - along with the ever-present sweetness, some banana & mild tropical fruit flavors lingering as well. A bit of burn from the high ABV make this one a sipper for sure. Well carbonated but with a slightly thick feel to it - very nice mouthfeel. Very glad I was able to try this - still holding up well after all these years. Seek it out if you can... delicious brew.

Thanks, yet again, to Eric. Golden but a little cloudy. Nose was alcohol, sweet malts, a touch of caramel. Tastes candy sweet, a little fruity, with a touch of alcohol. It finishes sweet, and even thought the bottle we shared was oxidized, it definitely wasn’t bad.

Bottle thanks to Eric. Pours a very cloudy orange color with a tiny rim of bubbles. A sweet hot aggressive nose, almost like a sweet barley wine. A sweet fruity flavor, dusty with age, hot, rich, bananas and lots of sugars. Very nice, unusual and tasty. Unknown vintage, but fairly old.

Bottle shared by a generous soul, thanks! Poured a near clear red amber with a light brown head that dissipated to the edges. Sweet cereal with dark fruits, caramel and a slight alcohol burn. Flavor was similar with sweet grain, booze and a bit of dark fruit.
