4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle bought in Munster in October 2011, enjoyed in April 2012.
Black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. chocolate, smoke and some hops. The taste was not heavy but very balanced and elegant. Really drinkable beer. I would love to drink this one again in the future.

Mycket välbalanserad. Trevlig rökig doft och smak. Inte tung men mycket len och trevlig. Fin rökighet.

bomber. Lively black pour with thin white head that hung around. Nose is roasty with some coffee. Taste is the same with a fairly dissapointing bittnerness. No need to get another one of these.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a rich dark brown with light head. Aroma is grassy herbal hops and ashy roastiness. Taste is very hoppy with medium bitterness and a nice welcomed sweetness almost resembling a milk stout. Great work.

Lactose type aroma. Hoppy bitter finish, very resiny. Big roasty flavors. This is pretty delicious.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle shared by STLWill- thanks again, Will! Pours a deep, dark coffee brown with a small beige head, uneven film and bubbles that leave spots of lace. Aroma of roasted malts, charred oak chips, dark chocolate, peat, and earthy hops. The flavor is identical. Medium-bodied, with a roasty, rich mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Very good imperial porter.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Coniferous hops pierce this Imperial Porter’s roasted and toasted malts, lending pine-y aromatics and peppery bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the dark brown.
-A touch of eucalyptus/menthol-like aromatics create complexity in the bouquet.
-The mouthfeel is very comfortable; not too heavy, and far from anemic.
-Mild smokiness is hallucinated.
-The flavor profile is entirely harmonious. This is yet another very nice strong ale from 3Floyd’s!

This one bad ass porter. It’s packed full of rich smoky & sweet chocolate flavors. Wish I had more.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small tan head. The aroma is floral hops and smoke. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hops and bitter finish. Very good and easy to drink hiding alcohol well.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle from TheAlum. Poured a deep dark blackish body with a medium density under a smaller beige foamy head. Aroma is interesting, very roasrty, light honey over chocolate, wood notes, smoked meat and a slight touch of bitter hops. Fuller bodied, almost syrupy but finishes on the dry side, average to strong carbonation. Flavor of grassy meaty chocolate, I don’t know that’s what my notes say from a month ago, dark toast, earth, lemons, citrus fruits, a touch of sweetness and honey. This was another great beer from 3Fs.
