Shared a bomber. Poured burnt, hazy orange, with nice foamy head. Aroma of orange, pine, caramel, and other floral notes. The palate was creamy with soft carbonation and a dry finish with a kick of the lactose at the end. The taste was primarily malty (probably because of the lactose), with some orange, pine, toffee, and a little caramel. This experiment turned out very well and I wish I could describe it better. 3F rarely disappoints.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is floral hop, pine, and grapefruit. Thin mouthfeel with sweet hop and strong citrus flavor with nice light bitter finish. Easy to drink, a very good IIPA from Three Floyds.

Pours a cloudy orange with little lacing from a small head. Smells of fruity pineapple and mango. Very tropical and sweet. Tastes of pine and grapefruit with the tropical fruits ever so present. Over all was a great IIPA

Hazy dark orange. Fine, creamy white lasting head. Aroma is sweet, citrus, bright fruity, and floral hops, and perhaps I convince myself I detect the lactose.. Full, chewy body, sweetness, smooth balanced hop bitterness, Flavor much like the aroma. Complex. Mango, apricot, peach.

Bomber. This one didn't work well for me. The hop flavor was muted by the milk sugar and just came out weird.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a nearly clear gold with a tin, soapy white head. Aroma is citrus, cereal, caramel, sweet crystal-like malt and a little booze. Flavor is citrus, pine, light tree fruit, spicy hops, more crystal malt, toast nice alcohol and some yeasty fruitiness. Creamy palate, medium carbonation and creamy entry to off dry finish. Tasty stuff.
