(draught) pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of heavy pineapple, caramel and milk chocolate, with notes of oranges, mango, yeast and herbal hops, with a light pepperiness. flavour is mostly the same, heavy tropical fruit and earl grey, slightly resinous, with more herbal hops, caramel, light resin, bolognese sauce and no sweetness, finish is dry. medium to heavy-bodied with soft carbonation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to Chaney for this snack!
A: wheat colored ale with excellent clarity. Single finger of bone white foam falls to a translucent sheet of te same. Rim reaches up the sides. Near cobweb lacing.
S: mint, resin, grapefruit, hay, corn, bubble gum. Pretty complex and diverse use of hops it seems multilayered. Nice underlying malts are a bit sweet, but I expect this to pack a punch!
T: hayooo! Bitter and alcoholic (in complimentary fashions, respectively). Otherwise, this hops compliment in a manner similar to the nose. Add a hint of mid palate sweetness. Good stuff.
M: medium body with moderate carb. Slick for quite some time.
O: well, this is a good beer. Now if only it were on my shelves...

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2013 One of my favorites. Tons of grapefruit/tangerine in aroma and taste. Super bitter, but with enough tropical fruit to easily even it out. Definitely not west coast, but easily one of the most complex and best IPAs I’ve ever had.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured at the Three Floyds Brew Pub. Beautiful pour with a medium two finger head. Aroma is fresh and crisp. Hops, pine, citrus, grass all hit the nose. Taste is balanced and refreshing. Just the right amount of carbonation. Hides the ABV well. Nice hop balance on the palate. Mouth feel is good with a nice amount of hop with a thin malt finish. Another fantastic brew from Three Floyds.
