A massive IPA that will leave your palate it’s hapless victim. Scorched earth is our brewery policy. 100IBU 9%ABV

22 oz. bomber from Big Red Liquors in Carmel, IN. Slightly hazy yellow with a foamy white head. The aroma smells big with strong sweet malt and spicy hops. Those both pop up immediately in the flavor. The spiciness of the hops is incredible to the point it’s almost like there’s hot chilies in it. The initial sweetness rolls into a green pepper/vegetal taste. The alcohol keeps the heat going through to the end which is blazingly bitter. Definitely a hop lovers beer with just enough balance to make it palatable for those who aren’t yet hopiphiliacs.

Apricots. Thin lacey head with a cloudy gold body. Big, bold. Not your typical IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not much hop aroma here. Pours with a thin head and a hazy deep gold. Taste is sweet, grassy with some alcohol. Bitter finish and a touch of...bananas(?) I find it a little too cloying and "big" for an ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden colour with a nice frothy white head. Huge aroma of hops and more hops and citrus and did I mention good hops. On the palate it is big, rich, well hoped and delicious.

Nice peachy aroma not as much as zombie dust or permanent funeral tho. Golden hue with finger crisp white foam head, nice lacing. Overall pretty solid iipa not the best by any means nor their best but good nonetheless. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Received in a trade from BMoosey -- Drank 3/16/2014 at a bottle share I hosted. Very Very good IPA. Aroma is sticky hops and a little malty alcohol. Flavor is just great, all the flavors from the hops, the malt, the alcohol meld together into just an amalgam of awesomeness. Overall would like to have again please.

Shared by yours truly at the Goose Island Southern Migration Event. Bit of an Onion Bomb. Still good, but lacking in malty sweet finish to balance its upfront bite. Pine and cotton candy on the nose. Clear color. Lively. Prefer other IIPA’s. Bottle - Received in Trade

Fruity notes of apricot, orange, citrus, mango. Bitter beer, nice finish. Have had this many times. Definitely try.

Bomber thanks to Jason from Lakewood. Poured a perfect unfiltered orange-yellow with a white top. Complex taste of citrus, barnyard, pine, sweet apricot, spruce, with a slightly bitter finish. Medium carbonation, thin body. Alcohol very well hidden.

Bottle: Muddled, hazy orange & rustic amber body with a lightly foamy, off-white head that turns into a chunky collar & film quickly. The appearance alone tells me this’ll be another quite malty DIPA. The aroma confirms that notion... Lots of sweet caramel malt on the nose, undercurrents of floral hops, pines, toasted bread, mango & guava juice, perfume, & toffee sweetness. Very sweet, more so than hoppy. Taste is also quite sweet, maltier than I like my DIPAs to be... Caramel, sweet bread & toast with overtones of mango, orange, pineapple, & some sticky, borderline dank tropical fruits. Bitterness doesn’t taste anywhere close to the stated 100 IBUs. Big, thick, sticky body. I don’t love this. Much like Dreadnaught, it’s too sweet for my DIPA preferences, although the heavy tropical notes are nice. This would be better with a lighter malt bill, methinks.
