3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade pre-CBC. Out of the three floyds beers i had this day this was the least exciting. Maybe the IIPAs have just been over done. Itís a really decent beer but it didnít surprise me in anyway.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
c/o NeoHippie2. Thanks again!
Aroma - is rich with big booming West Coast oiled up hop action, some pungent citrus, and a hearty caramalt backbone.
Appearance - Orange body color; liquid is cloudy; the head never really set up well, surprising for an IPA, which reflects in the score, the was about 3/4" off white head. Some dappled lacing, but not much.
Taste - itís big and rich, full of boozy pine and citrus and beefed up caramalt. There are the oily West Coast hops - Warrior, Tomahawk, and Centennials (amongst others) and some citrus which includes grapefruit and blood orange.
Palate - the body is medium; the texture oily; the carbonation is average; the finish is pined and oily booze.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice mix of citrus hops that doesnít forsake a thick malty backbone like many hop-bomb IPAs these days. Pours brown with nice head and lacing. A little bit of booze and some perfumy aromas on this. Finishes bitter, thick consistency. Bottle thanks to bmoosey.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A- Pours a hazy peach color with a frothy, 1.5 finger head.
S- Citrus, grapefruit, grainy
T- Tastes very citrusey, lemon, resiney, extremely hoppy all the way through with hints of biscuity maltiness.
M- Medium/Thick with lots of carbonation.
D- A decent dipa and a total hop bomb. Not my favorite but I would revisit it.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bomber from Big Red Liquors in Carmel, IN. Slightly hazy yellow with a foamy white head. The aroma smells big with strong sweet malt and spicy hops. Those both pop up immediately in the flavor. The spiciness of the hops is incredible to the point itís almost like thereís hot chilies in it. The initial sweetness rolls into a green pepper/vegetal taste. The alcohol keeps the heat going through to the end which is blazingly bitter. Definitely a hop lovers beer with just enough balance to make it palatable for those who arenít yet hopiphiliacs.

Apricots. Thin lacey head with a cloudy gold body. Big, bold. Not your typical IPA.
