Bomber, pours a light clear golden orange with white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is very fresh - citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit, nice malty balance and good amount of bitterness. A solid, well crafted double IPA.

Bought for $10 right at the Three Floyds Brewpub on Sunday... drinking this on Thursday. I’d be surprised if this beer is more than a week old.
Appearance: Absolutely one of the best beers I’ve ever seen. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with quite a lot of floaters in the glass. The head is about two fingers of a creamy, cream colored head that stays at one throughout the glass. Lacing isn’t that great, but easily forgiven. Awesome looking IIPA.
Smell: Total sweetness. Mango, grapefruit, pineapple, and even cherry. A lot of what you’d expect from quite a few IIPAs out there. This just smells fresh as hell... I can smell the beer from over a foot away.
Taste: A rush of bitterness quickly coats the mouth. On the swallow, a slight alcohol burn and bitterness lingers everywhere. The flavor itself is out-fucking-standing. While it is definitely bitter (DEM HOPS), the sweet, tropical flavors absolutely blow my mind. The nasal-cavity alcohol warmth lets you know that the ABV on this is pretty high, but Arctic Panzer Wolf tastes so goddamn good that you just don’t wanna slow down.
Even if you’re just looking for a beer to "warm you up", this would be a very good option... but not only do I like this more than Dreadnaught (by quite a margin, in fact), but this is the third best beer I’ve ever tasted. I’d really like to try Dreadnaught again to see if I really like this one that much more, but WOW. Very few can match this IIPA by Three Floyds.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a bright gold/orange with a small white head that fades into oblivion.
Smells of tropical fruits and a little sweetness. Maybe a touch of honey.
A palate wrecker if there ever was. Starts out with an intense grapefruit bitterness balanced well with a good malt backbone. A touch of sweetness in the middle rounding into a delicious piney hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation levels.
This is every bit the equal of Dreadnaught and a great addition to the 3F lineup. Drink this one fresh though. Fresh bottles and off draft are some of the best beers I’ve had, but more than a few weeks old and it loses a ton of its great flavors.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a two finger white head which slowly falls to a ring. Aromas of grapefruit and pineapple dominate with a fair amount of resinous pine mixed in. Thick with piney resin flavors backed by a generous amount of bready sweet malts and the flavor of grapefruit pith. Medium in body, lively smooth moderate carbonation with a thick sticky finish.

Massive hoppy citrus nose, pineapple, peach. Awesome hop bouquet of deep citrus flavors, grape, berries, plum tart, huge dry bitter finish. Heavenly complex and balanced magical hop elixir @o@

A bomber pour a few months back. As expected, 3Floyds crafts exceptional beer and Arctic Panzerwolf is no exception! I absolutely was taken by the crimson/orange hue that radiated from this brew. The hop character was spot on for a DIPA. I loved the smooth enjoyable finish!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy bright orange/gold with a tight, off-white head. The aroma is citrus with a little pine. It has a medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a mildly bitter finish, very similar to Dreadnaught.

One of my favorites. Smooth taste, great aroma, excellent lacing and an excellent lingering after taste. FFF just does it right
