3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Pour is a pretty clear golden color. Light aroma that is slightly fruity orange, citrus, and a hint of malt. Taste is citrus up front, but quickly turns to caramel malt, and marmalade . Finish is slightly boozy. This bottle was slightly past its prime, but definitely enjoyable and drinkable. Would love to try a fresher bottle.

22 oz. bottle from Party Source. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium plus sized creamy white head. The aroma is juicy citrus hops, some resin, light florals with a soft malt presence. The flavor is hop forward, again favoring juicy citrus, resin, and some spicy/herbal accents. A good malt backbone that is toasty with light caramel. Finish is dry, grassy with the perfect amount of bitterness I like in an Imperial IPA. Medium plus body and simply a pleasure to drink.

bottle via lushawn. pours a slightly hazed orange. fairly thick spotty white head. Nose is dry and hoppy with an earthy, almost manure-like edge. Earthy hop flavors too...more hop bitterness than malt sweetness, which is nice coming from somewhere other than the west coast...pretty dry and nicely earthy-hoppy. Body is full yet not syrupy at all and the alcohol is contained well. it may have manure qualities but i like them. Good stuff...not as good as the Surly abrasive I had before it though.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a deep gold with thin white head and no lacing. Dipping my nose into this to find pineapple and mango. Nice palate that grows richer as it warms. While the flavor starts as bitter, the beer really fills will sugary caramel notes as it warms. Very nicely balanced for 100 IBU’s. No alcohol to speak of. A very nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Butterscotch in color with a minimal head. Not much lacing.. Flavor profile is EXTREMELY complex. For a double IPA, really unique. Balanced. Grapefruit, Floral hops, nice but low carbonation, citrus hopped back end. If I were to drink a 2xIPA for breakfast, this is the one.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an light orange-amber. Aroma is complex; earthy, floral, pine, pineapple, apricot. Taste is pretty bitter; pine, apiroct, earthy, also some sweentess. There’s also somethign I couldn’t quite place, a sort of mellow warm flavor up front - a flavor that would go well with holiday foods. Overall, pretty good.
