22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is strong pine, earth and citrus peel. Flavor is pine, bright citrus, earth and malt, dry with aggressive but balanced bitter. Mouthfeel is medium body with high, fizzy carb. Well put together beer and surprisingly refreshing for such a big beer!

Bottle thanks to my secret santa. Poured hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma was lots of citrus fruits like Passion fruit, peach, and grapefruit. Flavor was pine, citrus, and grapefruit peel. Body was light with low carbonation. Rather light and crisp for a double.

From notes. Pours a bright, light gold with a big head. Dry start with some simple malt sweetness in the finish. Bitterness is strong, about an 8/10. Huge citric-pine aroma with just a touch of light maltiness. A touch of herbal and light stone fruit flavors, as well. West Coast in styling but still stands apart from any other DIPA that Iíve tried. Smooth and fairly light on the palate. No noticeable booziness. Good stuff.

Bright honey-colored pour with a dense eggshell head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange rind, and toffee. Flavor is similar...nice hop bitterness that lingers but not as balanced, refreshing, or earth shattering as I had hoped for. ABV is nicely hidden. Good brew...not great.

Simply a delicious double IPA. Bitter, crisp, dry, juicy, itís got it all. They really know how to brew hoppy beers over there in Munster.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2011 Poured golden-orange with lots of citrus on the nose. Taste is tingly bitter all over the tongue. Really quite drinkable for the ABV and IBUs. Glad I shared the bomber or I would have probably crushed the whole thing and twisted an ankle stumbling around Arbutus Lake. I canít say it blew me away as other DIPAs and Barleywines have, but it was pretty tasty. <update> After a couple more bouts with the Wolf, I have to say I feel I underrated it...I like it at least as much as Dreadnaught, and while I have a hard time plunking down 11 bucks on a bomber, this is a damn fine IIPA.

22 Ounce bomber, fresh, poured a hazy orange wiith the most amazing aroma of hops, citrus, hops, orange peel, hops and grapefruit. For such a hoppy beer in the aroma the hops are mild with a nice citrusy/orange taste.

bomber from keenan 3/24/11. one of the all time great labels... too bad the contents canít live up... golden yellow with a small off white head. aromas of peach, cooked apricot, caramely malt, spice and lots of lemon. the flavor is the same only more lemon pledge-like with lots of spice on the finish and an earthy aftertaste. syrupy spiced filled mouth feel. 6/3/6/3/13

bottle-pours very hazy bright orange with a small soapy white head with most of it staying in the middle of my unibroue tulip glass. nose is overtly sweet, cloying mess of alcohol, piney hops, sticky sweet sugar-smells like a diabetes IPA if i ever smelled one! very oxidized nose as well. fussel alcohol flavors-heat, lite pine and citric tones with a cardboard note as well. Well, all i know is this beer would have sucked if it was fresh-i can tell by the construction of the brew that its not well put together. This brewery has become over-hyped and their beers have suffered ever since they opened that dumb brewpub. Its really sad because this brewery was once amazing before their head got way too big and the rest of the world found out about them.

Hazey, deep gold with soft white head. Sweet, hoppy balanced aroma. Chewy body with a nice piney hop strength and fairly sweet.
