Big boy served in a DFH IPA glass. A - Pours a cloudy burnt orange with one finger of white head. Average retention with nice lacing. S - Citrus and apricots jump right out followed by pine, honey bread, sweet alcohol. T - Pine, citrus, and floral hops, bitter up front, there’s a tangy citrus/fruit note in there that is very pronounced. Lots of apricot with spicy tropical fruit gaining ground as it warms. Spearmint shows up along with spicy greens. Light but sturdy malts underneath blend right in added a candy sweetness. Pine and citrus continue with a peppery bitterness but the bitterness dies down toward the finish. M - Moderate creamy carbonation, light side of medium body, The yeast throws out some odd esters and the bitterness is all upfront, dying gradually toward the finish. Heavy spearmint really and spicy greens really add to the diversity of this beer. I like that this isn’t the(run of the mill)DIPA. There’s a mix of flavors that make this stand out among it’s peers. Try to get your hands on one of these. Serving type: bottle 09-04-2013

Great hop bomb that I would drink more often if not for the price. If you're looking for a very hoppy IPA(and not really a well balanced one), this is it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy orange with a large foamy white lacing head. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops. Lots of orange notes coming through. Hard tropical fruit candies. Flavor of piney and grapefruit hops, candied oranges, some sweetness but finishes out dry. Hints of caramel and aggressive bitterness.

It poured a cloudy golden color with a small ivory head. The aroma was of biscuit, grapefruit, lemon, some earthiness and light pine. It was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. The taste was of biscuit, grapefruit, pine, earthiness and some light lemon with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish. Nicely done.

Hop lovers rejoice! Hoppy up front, hoppy on the palate. A bit of fruit after a few swallows, but not overwhelming. Beautiful copper orange. Thank you Three Floyds! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Delicious ipa. The high alcohol is masked by this hop forward beer. Got a 22oz I can't wait to pop open Rated by CEO of Frankbrewco
