Golden cloudy color. The hop aroma can be smelled from several feet awat from the glass. Tropical fruit and sweet citrus smell. Flavor blasts the tongue. Well roinded complex hoppy flavor. Bitter dry finish.

An absolutely smooth Double IPA. This finishes with a bite like it should but the rest of the way it tastes of citrus and marmalade and honey. Very clean mouth feel and the alcohol is well hidden. I had a bottle from the bar and will have another today. Well worth the extra money.

I was quit skeptical about trying this beer? But as soon I tried it changed my whole prospected on beer. AROMA; was very appealing you could smell the strong flavored hops APPEARANCE: seemed to have a nice light golden texture beer head was far from being flat nicely carbonated. TASTE : ohhhh..man the taste(LoL) was heavy but in a good way you can really taste the complex taste little sour at first but it goes away after a couple swigs(that means sips) over all the one of the best beers the Floyds have to offer

Hop lovers rejoice! Hoppy up front, hoppy on the palate. A bit of fruit after a few swallows, but not overwhelming. Beautiful copper orange. Thank you Three Floyds! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this on tap. Love the IPAs. Extra fresh on tap. Comparable to the Dreadnaught which I love. Great beer A+

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2012 Nice deep golden color. Thick creamy white head. Great citrus scent, not overly piney. Very smooth drinking for such a strong beer. Delicious! Right up there with Stone Ruination as my favorite Imperial IPAs... so far!

Pours a crystal clear, classic golden color with an egg shell/vanilla colored, fat, foamy head. Hop vegetable matter is noted floating after the second half of the bomber is poured. The head retention is better than average. I stick my nose in and, hello grapefruit! Lovely, lovely grapefruit. Mouthfeel is nearly as lovely. Soft, full, wet, but not juicy. The hop hotness cuts what otherwise might express as juiciness. Perfect amount of carbonation scrub on the back of the tongue. Megagrapefruit, some pine around the edges of the tongue, light sulfur, and a bit of onion. This beer’s my hero. One of the best from FFF, in my opinion.

This is one of the best double IPAs I’ve had. Very well-hopped but not overwhelmingly bitter. Just about the most well-balanced beer you’ll find with this type of alcohol and hopping.
