Pours black as hell with a frothy tan head. Nose is heavy roasted malt and a hefty compliment of hops. Taste is hoppy and bitter on a huge malt backdrop. Full bodied, heavily carbonated tastiness. Very nice brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige hea. The aroma and flavor have sweet and dark chocolate, roast, oatmeal, a hint of lactose sugar, decent mouthfeel, solid beer I had with Rumpkin and PumpKYin so it became the small beer.

Bottle share by Ferris. Thick black pour with light slightly off coloured white head. Aroma is roast, light booze, and plenty of coffee/roast. Taste is coffer roast, chocolate chewy mouthfeel, with a dry bitter roast finish. Really solid.

Sample at The Brew Kettle on 9/14/14. Pitch black pour with a thick tan head. Aroma of malt, roast, chocolate and light licorice. Malty flavor with dark fruit and chocolate before a roasty finish.

Bomber from Andersonville Wine & Spirits. No bottle date, but sure that line of bottles was there (5?6?) months ago. Pours a very dark brown with a light tan head leaving some streaky lacing. Aroma has cocoa and roast, with some caramel and spices. Later in the glass, rolled oats and some molasses show up. Bakers chocolate, in spades, with spices, roasty espresso, tangy pine, caramel, and -- eventually -- some oatmeal show up in the flavor. Medium to full bodied, tangy and a bit effervescent in the mouthfeel. Finishes shorter than expected (stout vs. impy stout, I suppose) and well blended between bitter (choc) and sweet (caramel). Would have sworn from the nose and early flavor this had belgian yeast. Plus, although fairly smooth, did not get much of an oatmeal presence. Solid and tasty. 14.5

Tap at FFF. Opaque black body. Massive thick rusty beige head. A very chocolate forward stout, very sweet, with a cocoa touch. I enjoyed this out of the bottle, but on tap it seems a hint more luscious. Real chewy, bold dessert stout. Hard not to love this one, World Class oatmeal stout.

Taster at ei8ht ball - nose is roast. Sip is dark chocolate, sweet chocolate, coffee and light booze. Wonderful body. Sort of thick. Surprisingly not over hopped for a FFF
