3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 joes (66) - Oirschot, - NOV 20, 2012Bottle (two times actually; thanks benzai and meerbier). Beige head, dark brown beer. Not so overwhelming aroma as expected: roasted malts, yeast (diary), alcohol, dark chocolate, slightly sweet. A roasted bitter is coming up fast. Coffee, peppery spices and some sal ammoniac (salt candy). To be honest i think I prefer all those beers separate ...

Bomber received in trade. Thank you rfraga7. Pours close to black with a frothy and creamy dark mocha head that is pretty quick to dissipate while leaving no trace worth mentioning. 3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 riversideAK (5413) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 20, 2013
High glycemic index sugary dark malty sweetness up front, some soy sauce, darker roasted malts, some coffee is here as well. Definitely dominated by Dark Lord and Darkness. Black pour with a dark brown head, thick looking, nice legs and stuff. Flavors of super sweet dark fruit and residual sugars up front, soy sauce in the mid palate, some coffee and roasted malts show up and it is finished by strong residual sugars and dark fruit again. Super thick viscuous body, strong alcohol presence. Interesting idea but too sweet and strong. I guess I am a big floppy vag. "Meh" (Jon, 2008).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 jhogan4 (223) - El Cajon, California, USA - APR 14, 2013
Bomber from a trade, poured into a tulip and shared with friends. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Nose is chocolate, toffee, vanilla. Taste is... just odd, with a lot of coffee bitterness and some sweetness as well. I could taste the Dark Lord in there, but the other beers didn’t enhance it. Full bodied. Overall pretty disappointing.
