Bomber thanks to joshmcg000. Cloudy orange pour with a three finger creamy to fluffy off white head. Aroma is pineapple forward tropical fruit, with liberal helping of passion fruit and a little melon as well, orange peel, bretty funk, a good whiff of light to no toast oak, tart vinous notes, green woodiness and some wet basement. Flavor is loaded with pineapple, tart apple and green grapes up front, light sweet grass, sweet wheaty cereal, a hint of spruce shoots and a light funky old fallen leaves note. On the thicker side of medium bodied with a creamy to slightly chewy entry, light to medium, blanketing and somewhat sharp carbonation and dry, slightly chalky finish, with a bit of a hop acid bite. Really tasty stuff, hits most of the right notes for a funky Belgian IPA to me.

Bottle. Pours a very hazy, opaque pale orange color. Lots of messy lacing all over the glass after a few sips. Smells of funky yeast, a bit of stale basement, some light fruit in the background. Taste has the same fruitiness, though more prevalent, with the Brett also very apparent, some light alcohol. Medium to medium+ bodied. Very dry finish. I really think people must be drinking a different beer; this is clearly better than the ratings, even if it is not on par with my top rated FFF ales. A good beer.

Bottle. Horse blanket, pineapple, malt and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large off-white head. Strong funky barnyard, citrus malt, and moderately bitter herbal orange peel flavor. Light vinous finish. Very nice.

Bottle. Gorgeous hazy orange pour. Pineapple, Spice, and brett on the nose. Little pineapple taste with pine and other earthy flavors. Was expecting more hop presence but still really enjoyed this beer. Not sure what everyone else is drinking rating this in the 2’s.

650ml bottle. Hazed gold pour. Aroma is purely brett, and not really as brett trois as I woudl expect judging the description. Tastes like a high-boost orval that was aged too long to be honest, somehow this brett beer remains hugely sweet, no real hops as they have long faded and the barrel notes are minimal, just stinky unbridled brettiness.

Pours copper with a tight white head. The aroma is very subtle with some leather and earthy notes. The flavor is earthy and resinous. The hop flavor had some medicinal qualities. There is also some astringency in the mouthfeel. The finish is fairly dry. Overall, the beer was good, but underwhelming considering the other great stuff that 3 Floyd’s consistently puts out.

Not bad. A little sour but not too tart. Some pineapple in the finish, just generally sweet. It’s good but one of their more average beers.

Sampled at Midwest Belgian Beer Fest 2015 - The aroma has tropical fruit and Belgian maltiness. It is golden orange with a white head. It has a medium / full body that is quite soft with gentle carbonation. The flavor starts malt with a Belgian slant, berries, stone fruits and tropical hops. The finish has some alcohol warmth. Nice.
