2012 vintage (red wax). Copper pour with an off-white head. Sweet caramel, brown sugar, and dark fruits. Nice hoppy aroma of grapefruit, flowers, and pineapple. A fair amount of booze, however. Very nice sweetness and bright hop flavors. Grapefruit, pineapple, and oranges to go with light pine and floral notes. Sweet caramel, brown sugar, and dark fruits. A hint of alcohol on the finish.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DocJitsu (305) - California, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a nearly opaque murky amber color with a big, fat head light caramel head. Mild, sweet toffee on the nose. A bit of dried fruit as well. Mouthfeel is smooth and medium-bodied. Almost creamy. A lot of dried fruit in the flavor. A little bit of alcohol and some bitterness at the finish. Decent. Not great.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 akoeninger (154) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Bomber. Orange amber color. Lacy off white head. Fruity citrus, and resinny aroma. Some sweet sugar and alcohol in aroma as well. Taste is fruit and caramel sugar, pronounced malt taste. Sweet. Great lasting finish of hops, then malt, then alcohol. Amazing

22oz bottle, orange-ish wax. This is a big beer, no doubt about it. really hoppy nose which is lovely and enjoyable, big chewy sweet body with touches of alcohol but not in a burn way just letting you know its there. Behemoth is a fitting name for this one.

Pours a clear amber/ruby with a huge foamy off white head...nice retention and lacing. Aroma has boozy notes, citrus hops, and earthy sweet tea. Flavor has lots of sweetness...caramel and candied fruits...and nice bitterness to cut through...earthy...some tea...resinous. Mouthfeel is full and silky with an earthy/fruity dry bitter finish that warms...boozy.

Aromatics are strong and hop forward. Lots of citrus. Tastes heavily of malt and caramel. Not super balanced but very nice.

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish-amber with a fluffy white head. Nose is pineapple and citrus. Taste is caramel malt out of the gate with tropical and citrus hop flavors and maybe a touch of pine. Soft and full mouthfeel with a tingly carb. Really wonderful.
