Aug 7, 2009 ’08 purple wax. huge waxy malt/bitter choc. very english-like on nosing. intense sweetish malt up front,that dry’s out nicely on finish. balance is good for such a huge beer. wanted to find something wrong with this brew, but in all honesty, i couldn’t. DAMN GOOD

Aug 5, 2009 2009 bottle brought by buddy, copper pour little foam. nose is sweet malts big booze and some hops for balance so so well balanced was prob one of my fav barelywines. intrested to see what happens to my other 2 as they age
