Commercial Description:
Dry and surprisingly light-bodied. Malty sweetness and caramel flavors shift to distinctive dry-roasted malt notes.

From Bottle. Cola-like pour, dark, dark and more dark. Brown, frothy head. Cola like look, I could see the carbonation bubbles. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and fruit. Flavor of roasted coffee, chocolate in the middle, and nice fruity, and hop flavors in the finish. Fruity flavors and hop flavors more present as it warms. No bitterness. Full bodied.

Had a bomber and on tap at the brewery. Chocolate and coffee, but not overwhelming. Some alcohol taste and maybe some vanilla. Neither sweet or overly bitter. Pours dark brown with a light brown head that lingers a little. Very drinkable. Recommended.

Bottle courtesy of StFun poured into a snifter. This one was crazy carbonated out of the bottle with a huge light brown head that overflowed the glass. It pours black with no light penetrating. There is at least one inch of head throughout and great lacing. The aroma is very interesting for a dry stout and has a pronounced citrus hop kick up front before the roasted malts take over. There is a little bit of coffee bitterness in the nose as well. The taste has the same citrus hops up front but has a more roasted coffee flavor than the aroma would suggest. There is the dark malt backbone before the hops come back in the finish which is nice and dry, about the only thing that is strictly within style. The mouthfeel is very creamy with tons and tons of carbonation. There is a slightly dry and hoppy finish. This is one unique take on a dry stout and very, very good. It’s also extremely drinkable for a stout - a great session brew.

Dark dark brown with dark brown head. Coffee and bitter cocoa flavor. Spicy finish. Highly carbonated.

22 oz. Bomber. I picked this bottle up in 2006 and have been sitting on it for a couple years. Pours out a slick oily black with a minimal tan head. Aroma is complex and earthy with hints of chocolate, dried fruits, dry roasted malt and wet wood. Flavor is slightly sweet, but not excessive and is well balanced by a strong hop backbone. Mouthfeel is solid without being syrupy and has a subtle persistent carbonation. Finish is dry and slightly ashy. Overall an outstanding low alcohol stout that I wish I could find more often.

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pour a rich thick black with a small tan head. Caramel and malt on the nose. Good malt flavors at first, give way to caramel and good coffee flavors. A nice bitter finish. Real good beer.
