Pours hazy orange, big bubbles, four finger white head Smell pine and oak vanilla, like a pine forest Taste leafy pine front, oak mid, oily hop finish Mid body Decent for an oaked ipa

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2014 Mellow orange with few slowly-rising bubbles; one-finger head that dissipates quickly. Smells clean, floral, a little sweet, some citrus. Tastes like hops, caramel, biscuit, some vanilla, all with a big yeast presence and a huge herbal component which I enjoy sometimes and other times it’s a little too strong.

Deeper, black color. Vanilla, caramel, maybe some roasted malts. Initially bitter, then more predominantly sweet. Medium heavy body, some chewiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

FROTHINGSLOSH (4918) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2014
From the June 2013 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright amber color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was grapefruit, perfume, cactus and a medicinal presence. The flavor was bitter grapefruit, perfume, cactus and cardamom. Very odd. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

More like Marmaladeheart. Not what I was expecting, from the name or style. Had to check their website to make sure this wasn't supposed to be some tongue-in-cheek fruit beer- it's all apricot, not much English pale ale bite. Wish I'd saved this for breakfast. It would be great with a croissant or bagel. Add some white cheddar... Now I'm just wasting your time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear rust orange. Has a caramel and oaky aroma. Taste is complex with malts, spices, hops, oak and caramel. A modest aftertaste. Not what I expected for an IPA.

Tap. Lacing. Clear amber-gold. Strong oakey boozey nose. Tastes boozey, oakey and trumps the bitterness a bit.

Amazing aroma. Nice appearance (a nice amber with a thin white head). But I'm not a fan of the caramel and boozy taste. Good beer, just not my favorite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Caramel, yeast and licorice aroma, sweet and a tad funky. Slightly bitter finish. Good beer.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2014 Look: pours a light gold color. Thick head disappearing quickly. Very clear. Smell: great smell. Fruit gloves like a fruit gum. Almost tropical flavors. Pineapple. Taste: very hoppy. Some pepper on the tongue. Definite bitterness that stands out. Not as fruity as the smell. A Deontae tang that I can't pinpoint. Feel: has that pale ale feel leaves a film on the mouth. Not quite a tongue scraper/ palate killer but close. Overall: tasty, wish it was as fruity to taste as the smell. Would drink more. First drank: home 5/13/14
