On draft at 3FFF’s night before DLD 08. Pours a hazy orange copper with a medium sized bubbly beige head. Aroma of tangy iced tea, lemon and other citrus. Taste of tangy citrus iced tea with hints of lemon and apricot.

Jul 17, 2008 Mix between the tepid English IPA and the American hopped up IPA. No musty taste from the standard English. But overall nice mellow, yet hopped taste.

Jul 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours an orange hued amvber with a big foamy off-white head that laced the glass. Aroma is balanced. Resinous with a strong malt body and a slightly toasty bitter lingering flavor with hints of anise. Full and creamy in the mouth. Quite good.

Jul 16, 2008 Bottle, shared by kmweaver, at the Shenandoah Beer throwdown, thanks ken! Copper/amber color, small white head, hoppy, nose. Flavor has some toffee, caramel, malty tones, but is very hoppy also, with some soap and grapefruit. Some warming alcohol in aftertaste.

Jul 15, 2008 Very excellent. Amber pour with small head. Some weird meaty smell that lost points but the taste made up for it. Caramel, vanilla, toffee, citrus hops all thrown together and ending with a tight hop bitterness. I could sit and drink on this. FFF’s definitely has another winner.

Jul 15, 2008 Bottle, courtesy Gillard. Copper pour, fizzy white head, thick filmy lacing. Citrus aroma, vanilla, caramel, some chocolate, albeit distant. Hoppy flavors, caramel, toffee, some interesting tangy malt element, and dried apricot in the finish. Satisfying, very smooth, nice bitter finish. Quaffable. Interesting style, very good.
