3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
No head to speak of. The aroma is a bit fruity, but the malt comes through as well. This has been ’aging’ for almost a year in the fridge at work so I think the initial hoppiness has toned down a bit. When tasting there are citrus fruit notes with a strong taste of sweet malt mixed together. Bitter aftertaste is present, but does not linger. I get a bit of the taste of an old ale and that may be from the aging in oak during the manufacturing process. This is a good brew, but I would still get the Dreadnaught or Arctic Panzer Wolf before this.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/4/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange, pineapple, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, pine, light oak, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, pineapple, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, pine, light oak, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy spicy/piney bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, pineapple, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, pine, light oak, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a crisp malt/yeast/hop balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp/sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an excellent English IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma of spicey hops, oak, and orange/tangerine and caramel. Taste is sweet creamy orange on the tip of the tongue, sweet corn malts and caramel in the middle; then lastly a powerful surge of spicey, earthy hops and oak. I am really digging these less hop forward beers from Three Floyd’s.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Murky dark orange pour with a huge, pillowy head that fades very slowly to a thick film. Leaves soapy lacing. Aroma is super sweet candied citrus and caramel. Tastes the same but also a bit stale and old. Hard to describe but I know I don’t like it. Not good.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Look - Foamy amber orange. Off white head. Not too thick. Lacing is good. Bubbles are small.
Smell - Orange and citrus. Faintly dank. There is a caramel and toast aroma as well.
Taste - Toast. Caramel. Bitter. Faint dank hops. Bubblegum before the finish.
Feel - Creamy and not too much carbonation. Really nice.
Overall - I am glad I got to try this beer. It baffle me how each Floyds is distinctly different, but amazing.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light copper hazy little head. Honey biscuit caramel. Sweet caramel oaky moderate bitter herbal hops. Semi dry finish. Good but oak may be too much for style.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours an extraordinarily murky orange-golden with a long lasting tan-beige head. Aroma is akin to a wee heavy with a bit of citrus. Chewy. A lot of sweet and rich caramel with citrusy overtones.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared during HamTech Reunion 2014. Thanks to the Duke, I think. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. Pretty sweet overall, with some sugary berries, bread, mild bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet and lightly warming to finish, with more bready malts and ripening fruits. OK.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pours deep yellow with generous shaving cream type head and good lacing. Aroma malts and spicy hops. Taste sweet malts, bready, biscuit with some oak spiciness. Finish hops, somewhat bitter but really more spicy and citric. I’m not a huge hop fan but the hops were not overdone here. Thick palate.
Unique enjoyable flavor.
