Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, over ripe fruits, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with notes of alcohol, fruit, malt citrus and some herbs, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottled@Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is caramel malts, some fluity and floral hops along with mild alcohol and some slight wooden notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same. Quite to the sweeter side, but still very pleasant and drinkable.

Cloudy amber beer. Lovely soft palate. A remarkable beer! Hoppy grapefruit, orange and pineapple and peach! Any bitterness is offset by the overall impression of a sweet IPA! Sumptuous and immensely drinkable. Is there a better barrel aged IPA out there?

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2010 Deep golden color, slightly cloudy, thin white head. No aroma. Big spice, mostly oak I suppose. This batch had apparently been stored for a while, so the hopiness had left. 2.9 Second tasting on cask at Birreria Paradiso. Much better hops flavor throughout, nicely balanced , not overwhelming. 3.6
