22oz bottle in a shaker. Aroma and flavor of hops on this one. A very good IPA with a perfect combination of hops.

22oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy golden with a finger and a half of head that dissipates quickly and has a decent amount of carbonation. Nose is very sweet with a slight Hoppiness to it. A mix of grapefruit, caramel, orange and pineapple. Mouth is very is malty and bitter with a slight resinous quality. I remember this beer being much hoppier and citrusy when I had it over the summer. This may have been on the shelf too long. Still a good beer.

Aroma: resin, some grapefruit, floral hops, caramel malts, toast. Appearance: slightly hazy orange-ish pour, white head with good retention and decent lacing. Taste: sticky pine sap, citrus, fairly high bitterness, toasty malts with a nice touch of caramel sweetness. Bitterness is nicely balanced by the malt profile. Palate: medium body and carbonation. Overall: nice brew - hop forward with a nice malt backbone to support

Bomber (from backlog). Pours dark orange with a hint of ruby. Big nose of citrus and hops. Citrus/pith and resin. Finishes much drier than I am used to - in a good way.

A scent of sweet malts, citrus, and hops. The hops stand out in aroma and taste. There is some sweetness that comes thru the coated malts in this drink. It may be carmel. The citrus isnt real potent but noticeable. My palate was not hit too hard. This IPA is very drinkable and wont leave much of an aftertaste. Overall it is a nice spin on an English IPA.

Bomber share by my bro, served cold in a tulip glass. 23AU12.

App.: Cloudy reddish-amber with a fair tan head. Aroma: Slightly metallic, quite fruity, berries, kinda tight, a little caramel, a touch resinous, sweet, malty, meh. Palate: medium+ body, somewhat relaxed effervescence. Flav.: Strong berry-like fruitiness, really sweet and malty, a little peppery ad resinous, some grapefruit, dusty, not awesome; sweet with good bitterness and a long, fruity, malty finish.

I expected 3Fs to blow my face off. That didn’t happen.

Deep super hazy amber coloured body with a bright copper glow and a nice, four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pungent grassy and resinous hops (of course), with a definite note of earth, flowers, yeast and a hint of alcohol coming through. Full-bodied; Dense hoppy notes up front with resin, flowers, pine, citrus and a bit of grass noticeable with a ton of alcohol warmth and depth, a lot of malt backbone for a huge body and a deep earthy finish. Aftertaste is quite potent with the yeast and malt really coming together to make this almost more of a meal than anything else - this one is dense, but the hop bitterness at the end is nice and showing more of an American quality to me than an English note. Overall, a very good beer of course, but perhaps a bit too overdone in body and depth and not english enough - tastes like a lot of the Three Floyds beers, which isn’t a bad thing, but its enough to not surprise you. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Discount Liqour in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 05-September-2012 for US$9.49 sampled at home in Washington after running a half marathon on 25-November-2012.

22 ounce bomber. Bright orange color with a light layer of foam and lacing on the glass. Pleasant, floral aroma that pops out when initially poured. Medium-to-light bodied, not very filling. Highly drinkable for 9%. This tasted more like a regular ipa than a dipa. Modest amounts of pine, grass, and citrus flavors. Cheers to the bottle label artist too.

Poured from a 22oz bottle shared at home. Pours a cloudy amber with a white head. Malty nose. Citrus and herb hoppiness witha hints of raisins. Soft bitter finish.
