Draft at source. Black pour/tan head. Poor retention/some lace. Aroma is tangerine/grapefruit, light chocolate/roast. Taste is sweet, chocolate, roast, quite bitter, orange candies, citrus. Palate is soft, oily, bitter finish. More of a black DIPA than imperial stout. Good.

Draft @ Warpigs, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small longlasting tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with weak hints of licorice. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish with hints of licorice.

Aroma of chocolate, taste is more chocolate, dark roasted malts, anise, alcohol is present, sweet finish that is somewhat long in duration-Taste at DLD 2015.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma,, sweet fruity chocolate malt with coffee grind , resinous and piney floral hops, light catty notes, light licorice notes, light sulfur, very nice. In mouth, a nice fruity chocolate malt with light coffee and licorice notes, molasses, alcohol warmth, light sulfur, pleasant and complex. On tap at Dark Lord Day 2015.

overhyped stout. very easy to drink even with the 10.4% alcohol content. tasted coffee and chocolate notes int his one. pours deep reddish brown with a thin tan head. smells like chcoloate. three floyds beers have been poor as of late.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends Reykjavik. Pours pitch black with a small creamy tanned head. Complex malty aroma with deep red berries and fruits. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel.Taste is moderate sweet, dark berries, weak roast, lovely beer, complex, yet easy to enjoy.

Sample@Warpigs, Copenhagen - pours black with a good sized beige head. Roasted malty aroma and taste, caramel, coffee, lots of chocolate, some nice hoppy notes leading to a bitter and roasted finish. Very Nice.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends Reykjavik, pours black with a medium tan head. Nose is rich and decadent, with loads of roasted malt, some fudge and mocha. Flavour is rich and robust, with lots of roast and fudge notes dominating. Not overly sweet but very well-balanced. Excellent stuff here.

Tap@warpigs. Black no head. Not much aroma. To cold from the tap. Easy drinkable. You dont feel the alcohol. Licorice. Only medium mouthfeel. Super brew.
