Our seasonal milk stout aged in bourbon barrels for one year. Chocolate, coconut, and vanilla liquid awesomeness.

Kind of difficult to smell, maybe it’s the restaurant aromas interfering. I prefer regular Moloko actually. Tastes of vanilla, chocolate. Doesn’t have the barrel aged strength that I expected to find

Tasted on draft at FoBAB 2011. Pours opaque oil black with a thick brown head that slowly recedes to uneven lace. The nose is creamy coconut and vanilla, with darkly roasted and milk chocolate malt. The flavor is sweet creamy coconut, vanilla, and milk chocolate up front, moving to the more darkly roasted, lightly bitter coffee. The body is full and creamy with average carbonation and a long oaky coconut and vanilla finish.

Tasted this at FoBaB this past year. Pours very dark, the aroma was good. The taste was good... notes of cocoa, vanilla... not really what I was excepting in terms of barrell aged.

FoBAB. Actually think I like the regular Moloko better, but this is a fine beer. Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Solid aroma of chocolate. Great creamy, smooth flavor, lots of good chocolate and coffee flavor. Bourbon and vanilla.

On tap at Fobab 9. Pours really dark brown with tan head. Aromas cocoa, vanilla, wood, and bourbon. Flavors of cocoa, bourbon, and vanilla. Mouthfeel was a little thin and chalky. Decent but not what I was hoping for.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing creamy brown head. In aroma, a sweet chocolatey and woody malt, with light molasses notes, light soy notes. In mouth, a smooth sweet chocolate with smooth warming alcohol, vanilla, quite nice and smooth. On tap at FoBAB 2011.

Draft at FoBAB 9. Pours a deep black with a tan/brown head taht is sticky. Nose is cocoa, toasty, coconut and vanilla, as well as an odd musty note to go along with it. Odd. On tasting, more of that mustyness comes across with the creamy stout. Nice body on this, but the musty notes distract from the barrel character. Okay.

On tap @ FFF. Black pour with a small, creamy, tan head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, vanilla, coffee, bourbon and milk caramels. The flavor is lots of sweet chocolate malt and sugar with boozy bourbon/vanilla and a slightly tanic oak presence. Full body with mild carbonation and a thick, lush mouth feel. Really good beer at small dosages due to the sweetness but the bourbon barrels adds a great complexity to this.

Tap at FFF. Dark black pour, almost no carbonation and a strong whiskey aroma. Flavor is dark chocolate, some vanilla and strong woody whiskey melding throughout the beer as it was drank. A little thinner and hotter than I’d preffer, but really tasty nonetheless.

Newly tapped at 3Fs. Pours black with little head. Aroma is outstanding with strong bourbon, vanilla, and cream notes. Very tasty...bourbon, malts, vanilla, chocolate. Alittle too sweet, especially on the front end. Regardless it is a Great BA beer.
